Starting July 20, and running through August 3, PokerStars is running a "Search for Protégés Contest" in concert with the up-coming 2014 World Championship of Online Poker (WCOOP). Four lucky winners will receive training from select Team PokerStars Pros: Andre Akkari, Bertrand ‘ElkY’ Grospellier, Eugene Katchalov and Vanessa Selbst!
In addition to training with some of the top names in poker, winners will also receive entry into three WCOOP events (including the $5200 Main Event), along with a chance to compete for the Grand Prize of a 2015 PokerStars Caribbean Adventure package.
Qualifiers:
There will be four daily protégé qualifying tournaments from now until August 3:
In addition to the normal prize-pool of these tournaments, the top two finishers of each will be invited to make a short video directed to the Team Pro mentor, stating why they should be given a chance to be a protégé. Each pro will pick their two favorites, and those videos will be uploaded to YouTube and Facebook, where the four protégés will be decided by public vote.
The protégé that wins the most money in the three WCOOP events in their package wins the Grand Prize 2015 PCA package!
