I have never player a lot of them in one month so I have no idea if it is easy to make money at them. I actually played in two yesterday and I think my points are negative already. I was actually planning on trying to ply at least two of these a day for the entire a month and see how I do.

Yes.. The top point holders of each month do get cash prizes and depending on if you make 50 or more points it increases... takes time and dedication for it, just like any other promo.. ect. If you are one of the few... (over 10K registered) to make the leaderboard then you are set and it would be well worth the time and effort. I just started so We'll see what happens.. good luck and read up on it to get a better understanding.

You also need to generate 20 VPP points the month before to get the full prize of a League winning.

$1500 for first if you have the points made in the month before.
$150 if you didn't...
And those $150 you only get if you played any money game too.

Otherwise you waste your time and even if you are first you end up getting nothing !!!
So be sure you played a money game on any table,
and if you can spend 10-15$ try to make the 20 VPP to be able to win
the full prize.

GL !!!

With you on that Harry G, hoping to make it four...

Have you heard about the Cowboy Corral? We got the top peeps from PSO playing each day, with some top 1% of PS too; they also have a bad beat and bounty games. Check out the forums and I'm sure the posse would welcome you...I am actually sending you PW on PSO PM, if your interested.

I really need to take this more serious this month. I made a couple bucks the first 2 months and kinda didn't play last month.

They run 4 freerolls a day. You play however many you want. They are only $10 freerolls but you are not playing to cash in these, it is to score points on the leaderboard. At the end of the month depending on where you end up you get cash. You just have to take 2 core quizes, real easy, you dont need to do the lessons, go right to the quizes.
There should be an option on your bar in the lobby for pokerschool.
They will have more info there.
I suppose if you were going for the big money it would take alot of time and comittment, but I just play a couple a week, I got $10 the first month, $5 or $3 the second. I just play them for entertainment, anything that comes out of it is a plus.

Once you make a few bucks poof, whats the sense? To much work to finish top 10 and make serious money with it.
I'm working the money I won from them, appreciate having them, and hope others can get a start with them.

I like the competition aspect of it. I just started a few days ago so still new to me. But if you could finish pretty high would be a cool poker accomplishment.

Lol, I am not sure, maybe that is why I didn't really play in September.

I would say for those who don't want to play to many, but have a realistic chance for page one. Register in the tourneys that have at least 1100 entrants & make sure to ITM. You start the league with 1500 points & generally get +30 points for each ITM until you reach 1770; this is when they put the 1st buffer in place to reduce your points (ITM = +20). Then 1820/+15 & 1870/+10 - estimating, but the general idea is there. Only one person has gone over 2000 & about 30 have gone into the 1900's.
* The transition to plus points is top 25% *

Are people still playing these? i played for a month or two at the beginning, i found them to be a complete waste of time for what you can get out of them, i would guess that someone who is making the leaderboard in these are spending a lot of their time playing these tournaments where the max money in each is something around 2 dollars. not worth the time and effort in my opinion
