Damn. Was playing for 2 hours in this tourney and was chip leader with 62,000. Second place had 30,000. Suddenly message came up in chat window that tourney has been placed on hold. Everybody waited for an hour for it to resume, and it never did. I finally contacted live support, and "John" told me it was cancelled. To make up for it, they will offer a $100 freeroll on Thursday. What a bunch of B.S. Shouldn't they pay out this tourney? Are there any rules, or can they do what they want? Looks like I just wasted 3 hours for nothing!

Pokerhost is on the Cake network, although Cake did not offer this particular freeroll.

I play them for the freerolls. FT and PS don't have them.

FT would be shocked to learn that they don't have $100 freerolls anymore ... :D

You need to check more poker site lobbies.

Small site, big site, doesn't matter. If a tourney gets cancelled or voided, there are no payouts. If it was a buy-in game, then you get your buy-in back.

I just looked again for freerolls on FT. I clicked tournaments, then "all" and started scrolling down. Again, all I saw was restricted (by country) freerolls. As I have before, I scrolled page after page after page, until I was beyond today's date, still no freerolls. But, since you said there were still freerolls, I went further and further, and lo and behold, there they were, way at the end! So thanks, Nick, for bringing me back to FT. I seriously didn't know they still had them. I guess I had my lobby set up wrong.
