Poker Stars or Full Tilt for the micro player?

I am going to start grinding micro stakes PLO and I am trying to choose between poker stars and Full Tilt, as i think that the level of play on both sites will be similar, i am looking at the pros and cons of the VIP system on buth sites?
I know that neither are much use to a micro player but everygthing helps and I wondered if other micro stakes players choose Poker Stars or Full Tilt because of their promotions and VIP schemes?

As both sites have the same owner it should not matter o what site u play But it isn`t.
Stars is the better site.
More players
better promotions
better software imo
And u still have the possibility to open an acc on FTP and sent money from one site to the other and try ur luck there.

FT maybe has higher rake? It used to be this way, but as I dont play cashgames often anymore Idk for sure.

I think you must choose Pokerstars, because of more players, better promotions

Better structures
Better prizes
Better Reward Programme
More tournaments
Better software
Quicker cashouts
Didn't try to rob their customers

Right now FT has the take 2 promotion going, basically a free $5 (maybe $10, not sure if there are enough days left to qualify for that). Traffic is up right now because that.

Traffic generally sucks on tilt compared to stars. You probably want to go with stars just on the traffic factor.

If you try to do it on FTP, it will take forever, since it can be very hard to get in on games with it having such a small player base. I do think it's easier to cash with a micro bankroll with FTP's step system, compared to Star's step system.

i think its better FTP ... on FTP u have more vantages when ur starting to build your bankroll, plus the players are weaker ... only sucks cause the FTP software kinda sucks and looks very childish

I dont toatally agree. Pokerstars have better software yes, but I think full tilt has the best promos. Its easier to walk up the "VIP steps" and in my opinion there are more benefits. But over all I think they are quite similliar.

You can play both of them , but I think Pokerstars is a better site. It has a lot more tournaments and a better software.

I think that pokerstars is better, there are plenty of players 24 hours a day, 7 days of the week. I don't really know how much poker players are there on full tilt

just in case u didnt read my comment ... pokerstars is by far the site with The BETTER players, and o FTP its alllot of fish ... and believe me there are allot of players on FTP and so there are allot of tournaments good for new players to build the bankroll ... thats it

Give PokerStars a try. I think for your purpose on building roll on microPLO it's easy choice.

For anyone who is starting playing cash, with my experience, full tilt are the best room by far to learn and to make a bankroll. The players at micro stakes in pokerstars are so bad, but so bad that you will loose all you money to them. In full tilt you can play hands without having maniacs who push all in with 7 high and even win the hand. So sick at pokerstars.

Pokerstars owns the poker world this time. Most players, tournaments, cash games, promotions etc. I'm 100% sure that you will find the game type you search there.

it is sad ps owns ftp as ftp used to have looser games. go stars now for more players better promos etc.

give us pokerstars for the us players. Easy choice is ps, if you have enough money i would recommend both, so you can table select better. I believe this to be one of the most underrated aspects of the game.

full tilt poker for me is better when it comes to starting players because they do not have as many systems out there at the pokerstarsie

It depends - fultilt has less players and also not so high variability of cards during sit n go's tournaments... Also fulltiltpoker has one big dissadvantage - I made deposit of 13 USD, doubled it in rush poker within 20 mins and made over 30 FT points but got 0 of bonus... so played longer and after getting like 30 dollars I saw first dollar of my bonus... - terrible rate - 0,04 of your deposit bonus - per each fulltilt point you make... (1 USD added at time - meaning you need to make very many points)...

At pokerstars it is very random if you succeed or fail no matter how you play... micro stakes like 0,02 are possible on pokerstars but not possible on FTpoker.. Well I won twice 0,02 multi sit n go in pokerstars earning 4,40 USD each time but it was mostly after 110 minutes of play... It depends how patient you are and also how much time do you have... Both pokersites have same owner that is true, but different system generator of cards... Wish you luck
