I tried to change my avitar on PS today and was advised that as I had already changed it I wasn't aloud to again, so I e-mailed customer support

Guys

I'm writing to request the opportunity to change my avitar. Whilst the old silverfox has served me well, I think its time he returned to the wild life sanctuary and we employed a new younger cub with plenty of run good. Whilst i wish the old boy well its time he had a rest and enjoyed his retirement in the sanctuary

To change it, start the PokerStars software, and from the Lobby screen, select:

'Account' -> 'Select/Change Image'

If the option does not work immediately, restart the PokerStars software and

Ha, replying with a poem, awesome. Yes PS customer service has always been great.

their customer support has always been really good to me as well, since I joined Pokerstars, they let me change mine 3 different times, but they never had a poem in any of their replies, it's pretty cool to get service like that.

i think didier got a little board while he was at work. nonetheless it's still awesome knowing that you get personal care like this at pokerstars.

One year ago I contacted PS support about my credit card not working at their site, in total I emailed them more than 10 emails, got replied more than 10 emails in 2 days range!!!

Now, in FTP, I email them, waiting 4 hours to get that automated reply, wait again 3 days to get their "copy paste" email.

PS support vs FTP support --> Sky vs Earth

After reading the response from pokerstars. I think they should require players to add a player image, because it is way easier to remember the players you're playing against, if you seen their image. I usually remember some of the usernames without player images, but rarely do I remember a player without a image, if I seen them in a game a couple days later(unless I have notes on them of course).

Anyone else share the same opinion?

This is the exact reason i have no avatar. Though my user ID gets way to much attention so i may as well have one.

the customer support is excellent at pokerstars and they can not be faulted in my opinion.the only exception is they will not let me up an avatar similar to the i have here because it might be offensive to other players.(not really in my opinion)

lol that is funny. There is a a poker site called reefer poker, and they find a simple weed leaf in a picture to be offensive.
