Open skill league is not bad. I played enough last month to reach the top 2000 and earn $0.50. You get better rewards if you accumulated 20VPP during the previous month. If I had 20VPP I would have made $2.50 instead.

In the open skill league you can honestly sit out and still gain points, because half of the players shove preflop in the first 5 minutes. (If you bust too soon, you lose points.)

They also have a bunch of 'school pass' promotions. The MicroMillions promo seems pretty good, but the other school pass tournaments only pay the top ~1%... Not really worth the time.

My thoughts?
If you got time to play poker, then you've probably got time to learn poker?
IMO The real value in PSO isn't so much the freerolls but rather the vast libraries of poker knowledge, from the simplest hand values to the strategies & thoughts of Pokerstars long list of Pro's....
There is also the $8 bankroll Builder Promo, which comes with alot more than $8 worth of coaching & hand analysis from their pro coaches.
And every couple of days there is the chance to pick the coaches brains in live training sessions....
And there's so much more... Give it a go, it's well worth the price of admission!
P.S. Feel free to tell them to start paying me commission! :D

The best promo in pokerschool is the premier league, it rewards the top 500 players with 20$ and up to 5000k$, it's pure poker.

Its free (which is good) but to hit their promos-open league, premier league, etc., you must devote so much time because of participants and frequency of entering.

The most interesting thing in the poker school is a live training!
The coach plays and explains all your moves.
Training is every day and absolutely free

A huge library, courses for all types of poker, blogs players, poker league prize money, training with coaches on poker online. A great help for beginners. I registered in the poker school.

Thank you,
but we cannot play poker stars in USA.
Is there anywhere else I can sign.
Somewhere, where USA is allowed?

Hi Babcia, even though US players can't yet play any real money or freeroll games on Pokerstars, I think you can still sign up for the pokerschoolonline. I'm sure you can check this in Pokerstars CC forum. I know for a fact that some of the poker coaches are based in the USA. If you have any interest at all, it is well worth a try.
