Does anyone know of good poker rooms in vegas? I know it's Vegas so they all should be good but I am trying to plan a trip with my wife for a little vacation and I have to play me some live poker while I am there.

Suggestions please!

I love playing at the Aria. Do you play cash games or tournaments?

Sorry I should've specified, I play tournaments. I prefer them over cash games but if there is a weak game going then I wouldn't mind joining in lol.

Check out the room listings on www.allvegaspoker.com. There's a tab just for tournament listings - you can get a snapshot of everything going on in one place.

Aria is listed as one of the best in Vegas. I like to play there also.

I was going to suggest this same site, as it has been about 90% accurate in the past for me, and certainly helps you figure out where the games are, and at what times, so you can plan your itinerary accordingly. lol I would also advise that you call the poker room(s) where you will play MTT's, just to be sure that they still offer a said MTT. As Vegas casinos are competing for patrons (and the poker rooms are no different) sometimes tournament times get moved up or bumped back, depending on what neighboring casino properties are offering. Also just ask around, while in Vegas. Most dealers are also players, so they usually have info on the juicy games/MTT's in town. Never hurts to ask, as closed mouths don't get fed. Best of luck on your vacation (poker trip.):D

That is extremely helpful! Thanks so much guys. Yeah it was actually my wife that came up with the idea. Pretty much awesome!
I'll keep up to date on that site since we aren't going until the fall I just wanted to plan ahead for her and myself.

Has anyone played in the Binion's Poker Classic before? I'm thinking of playing a tourney or two in that or some other casino's mtt series.

Remember that tourneys lock you into bigger chunks of time, so you must figure out what the Mrs is gonna do while you are playing a tourney. You disregard that suggestion at your own peril!..
