Does anyone remember Gus Hansen's poker room? pokerchamps.com It was very good software, actually advanced for it's time. I actually liked how you could use your own link to refer players and use your own bankroll to add funds to their account as low as 0.20. You could also see the map where players were playing from.

Awesome stuff

I feel like I tried any software that popped up back in the day. Mainly to see what kind of promotions and what kind of traffic they got. This site was pretty good, but I wouldn't have called it advanced. It was pretty average. I always thought sheer technology development-wise that full-tilt took the cake for bells and whistles with technology. One thing about sites like these (and it may still be this way) they popped up like weeds and were pulled like 'em too.

Wasn't UB where Phil Hellmuth played? I wasn't a huge fan of him and his antics.

That was the other thing, back then if you were a famous poker player you probably had it made by sitting back, clicking a few buttons every once in awhile, and letting the site use your name for branding.
