A new U.S.-friendly online poker network, launch sometime last week, has about 7 rooms so far. I was wondering if anyone tried Poker Pro Network? If anyone has tired any of the 7 rooms. I would like some feedback.

This is old news, it already relaunched in early 2012, maybe February I think.

Chuck's just trying to get some new publicity. The only thing that runs are freerolls and maybe one $10 or $20NL table. There are qualifiers into a $10K or maybe its a $1K wsop 2012 event but they need 10 people to run and even the $1 steps don't run, so that shows you the likelihood of the $50 steps running.

On the + side the payouts are fast. But read the terms and conditions on the deposit bonus. If you don't clear it in 60 days they can take away your bonus that you cleared or some other such nonsense. And traffic is low so there's no way you'll be able to clear a $500 for $500 deposit bonus.

I looked at it (at least think that was it), but the pokerroomusa download just sent me to a weird search page.

Yep, no action on this "network". I can't believe Chuck Kidd thought he could break off and have an independent network. No games except a few low payout freerolls. A waste of time, really.

Don't hate. I'm trying to do the same thing and build my own independent poker network.

What is your site called?

It's called AcePlayers, but it's going to take me a while to get the funding I need to get licensed, and build the software(I'm coding it myself).

Really not trying to hate. But the reality is that this market is NOT young. In fact, it is quite saturated. The network/affiliate model leaves much to be desired -- no doubt about that -- but breaking into the market with no network for liquidity is no easy feat. Just something to keep in mind.

Yeah it's definitely a tough market to get into especially since there is really only a few networks that have much success in this niche, and licensing ain't cheap, but I see lots of potential in poker itself, and I think poker can/will reach a much larger audience once I introduce my site to the world. I'm hungry, and I'm going to put my life into making it in this business. I plan to have both a online poker site, and a land based poker room that work together with VIP promotions.
