For more information and ways you can make your voice heard on the "Port Security Act" that Congress passed late on a Friday night and quietly folded the Internet gambling Prohibition into, go to [link removed~tb]
Free memberships as well as supporting memberships are available. They also have a setup to email or otherwise contact your legislators about this thing. Fantasy Football, lotteries and horse racing were allowed, largely due to the lobbying done by the NFL and others.

Not to sound negitive but in my opinion they are worthless. They only provide things that I have already done. But on the other hand I guess any support for online poker is good support.

Strength in Numbers

Any organized lobby effort is worth the FREE membership...

There are, after all, strength in numbers. The more members PPA has, the more of a voice it has in DC...

Can your negativity and sell it to the NFL:D

If you have an account at Full Tilt, and wish to deposit more, one might get around the weirdityies by donating to PPA, in which case you get a deposit bonus at Full Tilt.

Most cost effective looks to be the $20 donation to PPA, which will get $50. at Full Tilt.

And an entry into a freeroll.

It would be good if the PPA had a constant message of exactly what they are doing with our donations.

PPA had "member drive" tourneys at PS last fall, and it took 4 months for me to hear from them afterwards. I've browsed their site, seems full of sound and fury, signifying a fart in a windstorm.

I joined. Costs less than a modest SNG and I figure it might help. They are apparently in talks with former Senator Alphonse D'Amato to spearhead their lobbying efforts.

ps: Just got my PPA tee-shirt, pretty sharp!
