I've been playing poker online just on my mobile for a couple of years now as I wasn't really in ideal housing situations to get around to getting a laptop.
As that's now changed I'll be picking one up. My brother suggested to get a Chromebook as they're fairly cheap and still do a great job.
I seem to recall that I wouldn't be able to play on Pokerstars or other such sites on a Chromebook. Am I remembering that right or just making up rubbish? :P
Either way, I'll be glad to finally have a laptop to play on as it means I'm not quite as limited plus I'll finally be able to make use of a HUD at last

I don't suggest you buy a chrome book
yes, they are fairly low price compared to normal windows laptops
but...the problem is most of the site, the poker clients are based on Windows System.
Saw Youtube, there is possible to install a windows to chrome book.
but that is too hard for unexperienced DIYers
