Does anyone here seem to take more bad beats on ultimatebet than other sites?? I was playing a multi-table tourney last week and took several. One i had K 10 of spades and im on the button so i raise and only 1 person called. The flop came A Q 6 of spades and i check, he raises all in 1800 i call since i flopped a flush and i had 4300 in chips. This guy pushed with a 6 2 offsuit and hits a two on the turn and a 6 on the river to smash my flush. But it seems to me this happens often at this site,('' more than others''). SO PLEASE let me know your thoughts. THANKS:cool:

poker stars

i dont know.. i seem to take A LOT of bad beats on stars also.. i have flopped the top set against runner runner flush draws, gut shots, and any other kind of stupid back door draw you can think of and stars just seems to reward the deep stack moron for making such a terrible call

Sorry to burst your bubble but all of the sites are the same. Most likely they are just happening to you at more crucial times on UB so you remember them more vividly. GL though, and remember it is actually a good thing if you are constantly getting drawn out on. It means you are getting your money in ahead most of the time. Keep at it the beats wont last for ever.

i dont think all sites are the same because on ultimatebet, the way they deal the cards, u catch flushes and straits more often.

I dont know what kind of player you are, really makes no difference.
But if you play alot of poker, whatever the site the more of a chance that people will suk out on you.
I play UB as much as I do FT and PS and believe me that are all the sameand I play 30 or so tournamnets on each site each week!

I think that in the rigged thread, UB had AA like 800% more times than the other sites (granted very small sample size). Moral: pokerstars FTW!!

I just signed up for this site to ask the same question. I opened an account and made four deposits and have already been busted four times on bad beats at 1-2 NL tables. I'm not talking anything close either, there are two runner runner flushes a runner runner straight and another suck out to make a set on the river. All four times I was better than a 80% favorite. I did find that if I went all in on a draw when I knew I was behind I would catch (this happened twice). All in all I can say that I've never taken such a beating on any site and I've been on almost all of them. I don't know how it benefits the site but I have to believe that people know what's coming because I've also never played on a site where guys are so anxious to go all in for a couple hundred dollars on some BS draw.

I have been playing on UB for years and people have been complaining about this forever. I can say that after playing thousands of hands on PS and FTP, that they are all the same. However - what happens is that the quality of play is SO low on UB that I see so many people chase flushes and straights without ANY ANY ANY regard to pot odds, and thus, more people tend to catch them (thus the "damn bad beat!") when in reality it was just a bad catch.

I'm seeing this on UB especially at the 25nl tables. It's the worst poker on any site I've ever seen at the 10 or 25nl levels. Usually there are only 3 tables at any given time anyways - which is sad when you see there are 20 to 30 on PokerStars. However, I do understand why - the Bad Beat Jackpot starts with the 50nl tables so people play outside their BR and move up.

it happens the same on all sites. It just seems you notice it more when it happens on one site you are at a lot in one day (or more). Been playing UB for to many years to count now and have experience they samething. But if you actually track your hands you will see that they all are pretty much the same over the long run.
You have your good runs and then there are those bad ones.
