Americas card room is a good site, I like the way it's put together. Bovada is a good site too but it doesn't have freerolls and it's anonymous.

It really depends on your preference, as both sites are very different from each other.

ACR-

Has a decent selection of micro offerings (<$3.30 buyins)

Good cashout times with multiple ways to cashout.

You can't deposit with a Credit/Debit Card

Good cash game selection and if you sign up with an affiliate, you can get some pretty solid rakeback

Their MTT selection isn't very good, and the GTDs aren't great, the deep stack tourneys have a long, 3hr 15min late reg period.

STTs usually don't get much action, however their On Demand SNGs run pretty often, they also have a SNG leaderboard for SNGs/On Demands.

Software is solid.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Bovada:

Anonymous (no screen names so you don't have past history with anyone)

Soft cash games and MTTs.

Decent SNG action, but no SNG leaderboard.

Pretty much no rakeback.

Quick cashouts taking <10 days.

A wide selection of MTTs with many different formats and good GTDs.

No good micro offerings, $5.50+ buyins you can get a lot of volume in at, anything lower not much runs and most of the micro tourneys have no GTDs or are satellites.

Crap software, can really be tilting, and you can't play more than 4 cash tables at a time.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hope this helps! :)

I can tell you a little more since I have played ARC since 2013, and Bovada since 2014 (but now I am a Bovada VIP member with benefits no others players have)

At Bovada the lowest you can buy in for is 1.50$, then $3.00, and so on, there are plenty of micro stakes.

There far more traffic on Bovada, and far more tournaments, you can play simultaneously up to 4 mid-stakes (paying over 1k each) at any time.
When is actually busy you can play 4 to 8 tournaments of at least 3k each, and up to 25,000 guaranteed. There such as great selection of tournaments that you can buy in for 10$ in a daily tournament that runs in the evening with 10,000 guaranteed, and while that one is running there is another for 20$ that is also 10,000 gt, and yet another for 30$ that is also 10,000 gt. All Sundays there is the 100,000 gt which cost 150$, and many satellites that you can buy in even for 1$ to win a seat. There are also a lot of them where you can buy for 2$ , $3 ($1500 gt), $5, $7 and the prize pool on these range 250$ to 5,000$ (in the 5$ re-buy)

There is also a lot more , like Mad Monday offerings, 20k, 30k, 40k ,$50k, 100k, 150k, 200k, guarantees, and many more, far too many - and they run on daily, and weekly basis on ARC you'd see one of these every once in a while but not constant

So I think trent32la is over simplifying Bovada, and doesn't have a clue of what she's talking about (no offense)

These above are just a few facts, there are a lot of more goodies in Bovada, such the dedicated customer service (ARC is outsourced and they they can be a pain in the ass when you have a real problem) and they don't care unless you are depositing.

--

ARC - is one of the first online games I ever played (the first one was juicestakes) I used to play the freeroll quite a lot, but when I started playing more for a little higher stakes the freroll stopped meaning much.

I stopped playing ARC when I had a rouse with the customer support, they refused to remove my credit cards from their system even though they were expired. At the beginning it was just because they were useless and I wasn't going to use them, but when they refused to remove them it turned into a privacy concern for there refuses to remove the creditcard and for their lack of concern about it.

It was not just that, but I also wasn't allow to add any more credit cards and this concelled my account to be trapped with old expired credit cards and not allowed to add any more, does this make any sense ? not to me. This is like going to the super market to buy food, and they will only allow you buy expired food, and wont let you buy good food, that pretty much sums it.
Alof their software was much more crappier (has improved a little since) when trying to deposit.

Is not until the last few months that I returned to play ARC. I had another bad expirience last couple weeks, when I deposited 80$ and in a matter of hours I turned it into 2200$, I tried to cashout , and to make a long story short, they caused me so much bullshit that I ended up tilted and lost the money before I could even cashout, the issue was that they required me documents for all my creditcards I ever used, including back and front copies, the problem is who keeps cards that you used years ago and that are long expired? , and then I was able to address the issue with one of their customer reps, the next day, it is a different customer rep asking me for the exact same information, and once again I settle the same issue, (at this point my patience was thinner than a piece of paper), yet the next day same issue again with different customer rep.. I lost all patience and of course I lost the 2k too, since I felt trapped and tilted. A few days later I was a little calmed and was able to address all their issues even though it took alot of work.

Their game selection is decent, and they do have a good games, I like the table design and feel alot. though the game selection cant be compared to Bovada's
probably that is the reason I play bovada the most. Oh and something that I like about ARC is their million dollar Sunday, (but i haven't played it yet, but this is the type of things that attract me)

Ps if you haven't signed up for bovada yet, you can use my promo link ( https://www.bovada.lv/welcome/P44C7775/join/?extcmpid=rafcopy )

That's my feedback on both games, I have of course tried the bulk of the games but they are way too bad to be recommended

Hope this helps

Ah,
Bovada No! Too much perceived collusion.
ACR Yes! It's a growing brand and they're on the right track.

Yeah that's the thing about Bovada, if you are just looking for freebies is probably not for you, they like to attract players that would be looking to invest, to me that is a reasonable request, I think many folks are just looking for freebies and that is why they run away from sites like Bovada
