PartyPoker Restricted Marketing list

If you try to register or log into partypoker you may be prompted with the following error message:

"Uh oh, looks like you have either registered or attempting to sign in from a country where we're not allowed to let you use our products. contact our Customer Care for more details"

It took me a while to find out exactly which countries they are referring to until I found the answer from the holding company bwin.party in their affiliate policy it is referred to as the restricted marketing list and can be found here:

The list of countries that affiliates may not market to are:

Now I don't see South-Africa on the list although all our neighbours are banned, wonder if it is due to an incorrect detection algorithm or perhaps that is not the complete list after all.

Anyone else that can shed more light?

They are referring to affiliates.People from Belgium,Poland and some other countries on this list are playing cash games right now.

That is a pretty big list but I'm sure that poker stars would have a bigger one. If people are really a poker freak they might just move to another country that gives them the privileges of playing online

Damn it seems like that list keeps getting bigger and bigger

india is not on this list but last I checked India was restricted.

This is list for restricted marketing countries. Their is also a list of restricted country of which India & brazil are part

The US is not on it either.

the list is about affiliate agreement not about playing restrictions

I just logged in, everything works just fine... I withdraw some money few days ago, it works too...

Another site that the Pope can't play.

There are people from Brazil playing on PP.

Which tournament did you try to register for? The CardsChat freeroll is for depositors.

Players from Brazil & argentina Cannot open new account for party poker. Existing players from these country are allowed to play on their account.

I just received their email stating that It's not possible to open my account in fact due to my location..
