Forcing you to earn points for cashback on weekly basis rather than monthly or permanent. I dislike it. Too much pressure. If I wanna start playing mid-week I can't earn any rewards, which sucks for person who plays multiple sites based on impulse

Yes, as for me, every poker conducts its own game, as much as possible for remembering the games and stretching as much as possible when replenishing. That's why the bot tables are set over cache. Therefore, there are many places where they give bonuses in the form of spin go, for example, as a party poker, I haven’t won a lot of games, but a lot of places where you go, you need to win 50 spin-go, as a result you lose money and poker gets them :) Since the multiplier drops less than your contribution.

I mean that any poker room does some kind of aktsy which will be beneficial to them, it's like in a store, aktsy 50% well, they overestimate this amount by 2 times :)

I also don't like the party poker rakeback promotion, because if you play low stakes you can release one or two per week, but in the end you always will generate points that are going to be lost or you will try to play more and lose. That's one of the reason why I don't play in party poker so often, now I prefer to play on BCP (or ACR), because you don't need to generate a minimum amount of points per week/month to gain the rakeback, it always will be there.

I find partypoker's rakeback program to be much better than most... it's better than Stars, 888Poker & Titan

Yeah money wise it ain't too bad. It's just anxiety inducing.

I had to play extra 2 days last week to get 5$

and now I have to play a lot on Sunday to receive 9 points so I can do 50 points for 10$ instead of just receiving that 5$ and getting rest of my points go to waste.

Technically it's good for them... probably lots of players play more or extra day just to complete the points for next step.

It is only interesting if you are a high volume player on certain limits. If you are a micro player, esoecially mtt's, you should forget about the rakeback programm on party poker. Too much points needed for the minimum of 5 dollars back.

I think most people will spend more at the tables trying to reach a cashback target (or chest in stars) than they will get back. I see messages online all the time off people begging for money to try and reach a chest. They are designed to keep you pushing for them even if it costs you more than you receive.

I would just play poker and forget it. If there was an option to remove the thing completely I would do that.

/agreed but probably not possible. Finnish government ran "Ray/Veikkaus" started their own poker like 2-5 years ago with this premise; no complicated rakeback program. They started off well with rake extremely small 0,96€+0,04€ fee. 9,65€ + 0,35€ fee but soon as the site grew into larger their rake became practically same as other sites. 0,91€ + 0,09€ fee etc.

Exact same thing happened with GGPoker, right? They had half rake for first year or so but now they are practically same raking as other sites.

I feel like these current "prices" are set in stone and only way to to get cheaper poker is through using very complicated cashback program which 90% people don't use.. and that's why they are the way.

Kinda funny, this is exactly what happened to me. I lost 8$ trying to get that extra 5$ playing way too many tables at one. And the irony here is that I literally did not make it. I was 0.50 points short. Jesus.

Well technically I still didn't lose with the superior leaderboards position granting me more money but without the leaderboards 8$ lost for NOTHING. 0.55 points.:mad::mad:
