I've not seen it come up that often, its just varience, you are bound to get streaks where certain hands come up more than others.

Funny but I saw that happen about three times that I remember in one tournament last night, I got bit twice with once when I had a ACE high straight and once with a King high flush.

if the board is paired you should be wary of a full house anyway

You have to remember that a site like party poker runs thousands of hands every minute. So at some of the tables, there are going to be 4 of a kind / Straight Flushs, etc.

Because more hands ae being dealt, and at a much faster rate, there will always be BIG hands dealt at online poker sites.

It's not so much coincidence as it is mathematically logical.

Flush's common as dirt...

On UB the semi-standard hand is a flush. I have no idea why that is and I will say that it is more common there than anywhere else in my entire life's experience HOWEVER, that being said, whether it is random chance or a flaw in software it doesn't really matter. Poker is a game of statistical probability and there are ebbs and flows in trends that occur no matter where you play or how the hand is dealt. The trick is to recognize the trends and adapt your style of play to the conditions in which you find yourself. :)

I play 7 stud almost exclusively and no matter how good a player you are there is no accounting for random chance. At low stakes tables it is a virtual certainty that at least one player with a flush draw will stick through the river even if you're showing 2 pair on the table. I have no idea why this is but it's something that I've seen habitually in my online play. The only way to cope with it is to play your hand, read the odds and the tells as best you can, and if you don't boat up - check to the better and ride the wave :withstupi odds are they'll come up short and you will take the hand.

Absolute

We (wife and I), went months without seeing a 4 of a kind hand ( on our used to be primary playing sight )... then... Wammy... they were prolific... sometimes as many as 3 in a tourney, that I personally knew of, not counting possible others... ... I chalk it up to the random number generator, not exactly being random, but, the best they can do...
