party poker has announced that effective Aug 1 they are removed withdrawal fees from almost all payment options.

I don't know which options are excluded - but there will be no withdrawal fees for bank transfers, visa and mastercard.

Those fees can definitely be a deterrent for recreational players trying to withdraw small amounts.

Maybe some other sites will follow suit.

Good news, but still they didn't remove fee for skrill payment which I much prefer :(. Is it 3% to much because rules on skrill says "Sending money to other individual customers incurs a fee of 1% of the total sent, capped at a maximum of €10"
Example: if u make withdraw from Party Poker 5000 USD fee is 150 USD.

From a June 2015 CC article...

"online poker traffic across all online poker networks is collectively down 16 percent,"

"partypoker.com, meanwhile, has fallen 31 percent on the year, according to recent figures."

An unannounced 3% fee angered all poker players.
