This makes sense to me since there are costs involved maintaining what are usually quite small inactive accounts. A lot of the time people will forget they even have a small balance on the account. Their hope likely is that you come and play what you have then redeposit. Gotta keep bringing in those active accounts.

Yes I recieved same email few months before from partypoker. But I didnt pay any fees cause I played few games later. At least they will inform you few weeks before they start to charge you. But its still not OK in my opinion.

I had this a few years back so uninstalled PP & thought no more about it. Then CC started fr with $200 prizepool originally so re downloaded PP and re activated my account. Few weeks later managed to win the fr, 1st prize was around $100, looked again a week later and they had taken the $100 in my account for inactivity. Complained to support who more or less straight away agreed to refund my money and they said they do this for anyone who complains.

Thanks for the responses guys ,glad to know it's not just me .I logged in and played a few hands of their speed cash so that should keep them happy for a while ,only have about 60 bucks on there so I guess it would be no great loss if they took it,just seems kinda cheesy that the site needs money that bad .I would play there more but I really don't like the way the site is set up.....scorp

At least Party is now giving warnings... when I first signed up in 2006 or 2007, the TOC stated they would just close your account when you were inactive for a certain amount of time. Guess things have changed now that they are starving for players.

I would never play on a site that charges for inactivity. That's ridiculous. Thirsty poker sites. Lol.
