Seen a post from party poker on facebook today suggesting the possibility of facial recognition for logging in. It's getting stupid now. They started bringing in real name tables which I will never play. If you allow them to use your face you are giving them so much personal data. I would never trust them with that. They can't even run a tournament without the software crashing. Who would trust them with money? I wouldn't.

But haven't you already 'given them your face', or to some other site, in a form of a copy of your passport or in some other form of photo ID?
Face recognition for online games is a bad idea. Still, I'm more concerned that poker sites might be hacked and our verification documents are sold on the black market.

I dont know. For mid and high stakes games I can kind of see the need for methods to combat cheating. If poker sites make it to complicated to have fun for 5 dollars, they might scare off the casual players though, so its a balance.

I thought they said that the real name was a glitch,? maybe I'm wrong, because they never fixed it for those tournaments

Party Poker has turned garbage since last year... i don't have any good reason to play there.
