One of my hacker friends put an idea into my head today. He said that it is possible to get an overseas IP address. I have been thinking about doing that, in order to log on to pokerstars.com site.

Not sure it will work, but worth a try.

Won't you need an international address as well to get paid out?

Pokerstars is aware of this possibility, in fact it's already possible for years.
The most likely outcome indeed, is you'll lose everything because you'll get caught.
Personally, I wouldn't risk it, but he...it's your money.

One more thing to consider.....if you get caught you'll be banned forever.

You can do it. You'll need an overseas address (not a PO). I suppose it's no big deal getting banned from a site you already can't play at as long as you don't mind forfeiting whatever you win. Yeah, I'd risk $100 bucks.

That is the fear.

That is the fear, having the site discover what you are up to, and ban you and hold your bankroll.

Which they would love to do, anyway. lol

I believe you are right. Not worth it. For sure, they will not pay out if discovered.

You have talked me out of doing that. Changing to an overseas IP, I meant.

Not diffficult to get an over seas address

Won't you need an international address as well to get paid out?

It would not be difficult to get an over seas mailing address. But, the fear of having your bankroll confiscated would be the main deterrent.

I just love to play on PS before Black Friday. Just don't seem fair. Most sites available to USA don't have enough peeps playing the games I am comfortable with.

I could win on PS by choosing the games I like to play, when I like to play. Not possible now. Most table have no players.
