I realize that "legal poker" in the USA is only in 3 states, however does 888 allow U to deposit $ & what is their average time on payouts? I've joined too many sites that are junk & just trying to get some research/input before I join another one.

I do not know of one, but I do play on Carbon. On Fridays they usually have a $100 freeroll with password via Instagram or Twitter. On August 30th, via Facebook, they had a $1,000 freeroll which I made $7.50 so a decent place to start.

My roommates just signed up at carbon about 1-2 weeks ago and both received an email from carbon offering $5 free money to play within 2 days of creating the accounts. So I would guess if you were to create an account and just join the freerolls and play money you should get an email offering you $5 free in a day or two, definitely worth a try.
Either way carbon is a great site for US players, lots of freerolls each month, great software, free odds calculator which includes a hud pretty nice if you don't like paying for poker tracker or holdem manager.

I have been playing online since about 2007. I have never made a deposit, however I played freerolls on Carbon, my first site, as well as others, and built up a small stack. I then would use my winning monies to buy into games, and did pretty well.. I had about $500 total on 4 or 5 sites combined. I had to stop playing for awhile due to medical and family commitments.When i went back onto Carbon and the other sites, I was still a member, but all of my monies were gone..LOL.go figure.When I spoke to them they said because I hadnt made a deposit in the last year, by their records, my money was now null and void....Even tho they said I could have cashed in, now its all gone
