Hi all, just wondering if anyone else has had much experience with Blackchip Poker?
There doesn't seem to be a whole lot of info about them on here. I signed up for an account today and played a couple of free rolls, liked their software, and traffic volume seems pretty decent (at least for a site that is accessible by an Aussie).
Any info regarding obvious pros/cons would be much appreciated before I go depositing real cash.
Thanks in advance and best of luck at the tables!

Hey fellow Aussie

I play on ACR, originally joined BCP. You're going to play on BCP, they are the same tournies and tables something to do with different skins on the same network,

I pretend to understand what that means, but I don't really, but anyways, I've had no problem on ACR or when I was on BCP, love their tournies, great structures and gtds, support very good, I read some of the complaints on this forum about ACR and support and we must be on a different planet.

Was a bit of a chore to get money on the site though, had to do if through Bitcoin, had heard of it but had no idea what to do, but via google searches, youtube vids, worked it out. Lost about 1/3 of the deposit via the transactions, with the AUD to USD and Bitcoin fees, so that sucked, but hey playing poker.

Good luck

Howdy Donskey, nice to see another Aussie on here. Yeah I've been using bitcoin for a while now so that's no probs, just takes forever. It's a good way to go though, just keep some funds in your BTC wallet, when their value goes up make a deposit at your poker room of choice, when their value goes down withdraw back to your BTC wallet.
Thanks for clearing up the difference between ACR and BCP - I thought they were kind of the same thing but I have as much idea of how that works as you. Glad to hear you find them both decent rooms (and profitable too I hope)
Cheers best of luck mate

I dabble on it but never really have too much success. It's good because of rakeback but it's mostly nit regs trading blinds trying to win rake races/get rakeback. Also apparently there's a massive bot problem on WPN (which BCP is part of). They do payout via bitcoin pretty quickly so there's that but they've been having a ton of problems lately with connection issues, lag, disconnects, servers going down. I'd stay away for now.

Thanks for the info quick, being from Aus the options for a decent online poker room seem to be limited

I find that play on both ACR and BCP are similar. For the most part they have identical tourneys as they are part of the same network (WPN). I have yet to see any benefit of one over the other.

Bloody Aussies I can't get away from them, BCP is a good site, I have both ACR and BCP and have had for a many years, I mainly play at BCP as I find I am luckier there.
On this forum if you read something about ACR you can substitute it for BCP 99% of the time, the 2 are basically the same, they are part of WPN (Winning Poker Network)

We have an ACR rep that you can ask all ACR/BCP questions

We have a few Aussies here, where are you guys from, I'm in Vic, as is another long term member OzExorcist and many that I can't name off the top of my head just now.

I also play at intertops, it's a site that CardsChat has a weekly game at, they have some games suitable to our times during our daytime. Some games only have 50 or less entrants with overlays, and they are usually the same players, a mix of OK and Bad players. The cash games are quite soft also.

I tend to not play the freerolls they have there as I read on their site somewhere that you must roll over 50% of freeroll winnings before you can withdraw the winnings, I only play the CardsChat freerolls.

If you guys ever want any help with things here at CardsChat don't hesitate to send me a PM, if I can help I will.

Cheers Zorba, those Intertops screenshots look almost identical to juicy stakes, I suppose it's the same deal as ACR and BCP - part of the same network?
I still have a Juicy stakes account but the traffic is so slow you can be waiting for hours for a decent sng to fill up, and a lot of the MTT's get cancelled because of insufficient players.

I grew up near Geelong in Vic but I'm in Tassie at the moment, absolutely love the place. Reminds me of Vic about 30 years ago.

Thanks for the help, probably see ya on BCP sometime :D

I fairly sure that Juicy stakes is on the same network, iirc the CardsChat freeolls used to be able to be played at Juicy but not anymore.

I do a fair bit of live betting in the sportsbook at Intertops also, on AFL games.

After you get the whole bitcoin thing figured out, it is easier than it looks. The first time it takes a bit to set up, security wise they make sure you are you. Then it is pretty painless. I had made a cash out on the site and having already made a deposit it was faster than they stated, so cool. Can get paid at BCP.
They did make almost every tourney a long long late buy in. I tried a few times at different levels to play them. I will not play anymore, a lot are 5 hours of late registration.

I noticed on Jackpot Freerolls that Juicy and Intertops have the same free games going, so they must be part of the same network
