I am not sure of this so I will ask others....meaning y'all. I have noticed alot of bad beats lately while playing in a few different sites. It doesn't matter if it's a buy in or a freeroll. It seems to happen the most on the river. My most recent one would be....today! I had AK and the flop came 47K. I went all in to keep the chasers out and this guy goes all in with his 72os! I'm sure you can guess what happened, everything was fine with the turn and then, of course, the river comes and the guy gets another 7!!! Now I have had this happen b4 and know that this sometimes happens, but lately it happens with such frequency that it has become ridiculous! Anyway, I kinda got off the subject. Does anyone know of any site that tracks the stats on these games? I want to know how many people suck out in these games! I am willing to bet that the ratio is higher than playing brick and mortar! Let me know if you know. Thanks in advance.

I was playing at the Belagio in Las Vegas with 3 people in the pot, I had ace/queen diamonds, flop comes 3 diamonds with a 7. myself and another player eventually get all our chips in the middle. He turns over 77 for a set to my nut flush. Turn is a blank, river is a 7 giving him quads.

Brick and morter poker is obviously rigged.

Well when Stefanicov does it, it is rigged, but that's the exception.

Did it happen on bodog? I saw the same thing. His handle was Koorb. He sees 80% of the flop. After that 72o hand, he proceed to take my stack with quad 7. I had AA. I feel you brother.

re: online poker stats

Thank you to all who responded. Does anyone know if stats are kept for online games? I would like to see a percentage comparison of online and brick and mortar.

There are sites like poker tracker that keep your stats.

I feel your pain allinsok, I also, have some of the wrost luck (appearently). Cause I get ALOT more bad beats than I give out. It wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't almost ALWAYS on the river to someone playing crap cards. It's furstrating to have the monster hand (hit on the flop), up until the river. But, I would love to see some stats on how offen the wraost hand wins on the river. Thats something we will never see, though...

Not what you asked for, but the most probable reason for why you're noticing all those bad beats:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Recall_bias

On a sidenote, most people muck their cards when they lose a hand. Do you always check the hand history to make sure that you had the best hand preflop or on the flop? I know I don't. I've probably sucked out on people a lot more than I realize, since I never check when I do, but I always notice when it's me on the other end.

Recall bias.

To answer your actual question: PokerTracker will tell you what you need to know.
