Hi, i have heard about online poker schools, that give you free starting capital, and teach you how to play. i find this very interesting :)

Do you know many online poker schools, please tell me about all of them?

Does anybody know about there motives for just giving money away?

I haven't heard anything at all about this. I will have to google it to see if something comes up.

The first one I looked at looks like a forum, you most likely would have to download the poker room software from them, so they could get the rake.

After reading the title I thought you were talking about training sites, I am unsure what these "schools" are but I would be wary if I was you...there are lts of sad people out of there trying to trap you and I often find if it sounds to good to be true it often is.

Which part are you most interested in?... the 'free money' or the 'poker school'?
I've heard some like that and they get decent reviews. They're basically getting paid via the rake they're getting from you signing up thru their links.
How would I rate the free money..... or the school? lol

pokerstrategy.com is a good scool. When you will hand over a quiz you can apply for the starting capital. A quiz not difficult - even such новичек as I could hand over it. But it seems to me to join is better academy on a site fulltilt.com or pokerstars.com - there you receive excellent knowledge and possibilities to increase the банкролл. Fulltilt gives the chance to carry out of the task and to receive points for which it is possible to buy monetary prizes and also participation in private tournaments for beginners. Pokerstars gives tickets for private and paid tournaments after you will hand over the simple test

ps. sorry 4 my bad english)

Starting Capital

This site as you are speaking (unless you are non-US player) works for international poker players to get starting capital. I have tried this before (poker professor, poker strategy, etc.) to get $100 or something like that to start with but I was not able to do this as I am US player. This capital is for non-US players only which sucks. I can't wait until USA lifts the ban for this stupid law of anti-online gambling.

I used to be a member of StoxPoker. The videos really helped me with my SNG and MTT games. I recommend them.

Thanks for the tip. I took a quick look and there appears to be some decent videos in their library. I see they also have a premium group of videos. Did you pay to get access to those?
