Hello!

I am from brazil, but am in the US for vacation. I have heard a lot about Black Friday and how online poker is not allowed in the US. However, I opened my PS account here and it's working. Is this legal? I already have money in my account and I'm okay waiting until I go back to withdraw. I'm in California right now, and later I'll go to Massachussets and New York, do the same laws apply everywhere? Bottom line is: am I allowed to play without transferring money while I'm here?

Thanks!

pokerstars blocks American IP addresses, so if you are physically in the united states you should not be able to play here. Now, you can open up the pokerstars client and look at the tables running, but if you actually tried to sit down or buy into a tournament it should reject you. It's quite interesting that if it isn't.

Enjoy your vacation. Don't risk getting your account banned and your money confiscated to play poker here.

No, you can't play while here in the US per PS rules. Dont take chances with your money.
