i played in bounty 1.10 i had AK iwas under the gun and i raised 3b 2 players called( i had medium stack) flop K62 i shove and the chip leader called 63 for him the river 3 .... so i lost ..maybe i should reraise that hand and not shove
1.10 splash i was the small blind i had AJ so i did 3 bet big blind called flop J69 I Shove opponent called 62 and river was 2 ..(we had the same stack)maybe was best to shove in the first place ....but why they called these hands??

I think it has to do with the lower stakes and mistrust. I often see guys calling any bet post flop if they catch a piece of the flop - doesn't seem to matter how small a piece. They've seen enough crazy play in the past to never believe that a bettor has the obvious hand. On the the other hand, they're doing exactly what you want them to do - call with 2nd/3rd best despite the huge pot odds against making the call. Unfortunately, the reality is that when they do that they're going to get lucky from time to time (approximately one in five times per your first example).

Depends what percentage of the guys' stack it was in the first instance. Second guy's call makes 0 sense unless you are both short.
