Could not log on to AmericasCard Room
Do I feel like a dummy. I was unable to log on to AmericasCard Room yesterday. Today, ACR support called me at home to help me with the log on problem. They are in Costa Rica, by the way.
Before I start, let me say that the Support Lady was very nice and paitient with me. And, were there to help me. Not in a hurry. Just there to solve my problem.
Anyhoo, support gave me a temp pass word and told me to log on and then put in my own PW. As usual.
Well, I put in the temp password several times without success. But, they hung in there with me. I thought, maybe my computer was screwed up. So, changed computers. Still, unable to log on.
Finally, support gave me a new password and told me that it would work. And, we parted company.
Cranked up a new computer and tried to log on to ACR again. Jeez, still would not work.
Then, emerging from my stuper, I noted that I was on the Americas Card Room.net web, instead of the AmericasCard Room.eu where I should have been all the time. Once going on the proper site, I logged in with out a problem.
Seems, I reinstalled the wrong ACR site from the beginning. And, never had a problem at all. Just on the wrong site.lol
But, to there credit, I got good service and polite attention from the ACR support staff.
