Right then, since we are pimping out the fact we have a 100% $450 matched deposit bonus with noble at the moment, I thought I would go ahead and take advantage.

Well for starters I deposited on the 27th march. I did the full lot of 450, this meant I needed 125 "crowns" for every 10 deposited. So 45*125 makes 5625 crowns in total to clear the bonus.

I have been clearing it by playing the $1/2 games on noble (would prefer to play on the 2/4 tables but its harder to find a game going at that level).

So this meant I am earning 3 crowns for every hand where I put some money into the pot (including the blinds). Obviously the quicker the blinds come round and the more hands you play, the faster you will accumulate crowns. The downside to this being you won't be playing good poker at a full ring game.

To remedy that fact a couple of times I went and sat at an empty 10 seated table (especially if there was only one running with a big waiting list). This meant when someone else joins I will be playing heads up for a while, till more people joined. Now I am no expert at heads up play and it was risky. So far the times I have done this I have only had one loss that was kinda harmful. Other times I either won or was down a couple of dollars.

I have also played on the turbo 6 handed tables, which again means you will be playing more hands.

So in the last 10 days I have earnt 1590 of the 5625 crowns. So just over 150 crowns a day. Not bad going and I should get the bonus done hopefully by the end of this month, though I have until the end of June to clear it.

As for my actual play during this time, I have only suffered a couple of losing sessions and on the whole I am doing rather well considering the limit I am playing at. :top:

So if you havn't done so already download Noble, make an account and deposit to take advantage of the bonus. The earlier you do it the longer you will have to claim it!

Well, this hand should make things a little easier ;]

I am holding [kc][jc] under the gun.

Dilema here, call or raise. I'm under the gun but decide to raise it up. Can't remember if I got one or two callers here but not to worry.

Flop comes down a nice [10c][qc][8h]

So I have an open ended straight flush draw, got to love that. Its bet to me and I raise it up. He calls and we see the turn.

Checked to me, now gotta remember the high hand bonus here, if it doesn't go to showdown I get squat. Its a scary card, what with all the straight and flush possabilities. A higher pair, even 2 pair. So I check it behind him, causing him to fold here would be a nightmare I didn't want to risk.

The river comes up with another Q can't remember which. Now in my mind I was worried about a full house beating my flush (how stupid am I huh!). The weakness I showed on the turn after a raise on the flop could have easily given the impression I was after a freecard.

Bingo he bets into me, I wait a few seconds and raise it up. This was a bit risky but didn't think he could possibly lay a hand down at this point. Thankfully he called I show my Royal Flush, take down the pot and then start hoping no one else is going to split the high hand bonus with me.

Guess I will find out when I log back in tomorrow after work.

SCORE!!!!!!!! only had 1 in money play and it of course didn't pay off... Sweet job man! There was one strange thing about clearing my bonus at Noble. There rake structure says they don't rake a pot till it hits 5 bucks and you have to get raked hands to clear the bonus. I played at the .05/.10 NL table with few pots reaching the $5 and cleared 10 bucks a day everyday till it was cleared. So I still haven't fingered out how I cleared it so easily. Never complained though!!

Took a break from the ring games today and decided to waste $5 on the $500 guarenteed tournament.

On the whole 50 entrants with another 48 rebuys and then 21 add ons made the prize pool $595.

Played rather well and ended up finishing in 3rd spot winning 71.40, did feel I could have done better but my raise with A9 in the small blind got called. Hit my 9 on the flop and went all in (pot was about the size of my stack) Got called he had 10J and hit the 10 on the flop. Didn't improve and finished in 3rd.

Got to be pleased with the result but shame it was only 3rd ;]

I'm working it off at a quicker rate than I thought I would be and don't even play an hour a night on work days. Put quite a few hours in on my days off though, got nothing better to do ;]

Noble poker software is by far the best next to fulltilt compared to all other i tried (microgaming, everest, pokerroom, pacific, partypoker..)

BUT i never won a cent since, i lost around 6000$ in 3 years thats bad
the worst is that i still beleive that i will get my cash back with 50-100$ deposits lol!

Well I finally managed to get the monkey off my back and now have £1000.41 sitting in my noble account. I have about £80 of the bonus left to clear and should get that done early next wee.

For those who prefer it in funny money thats $1894.17.

As soon as its done I will cash out and report back how well that goes too, though from what darkhorse reported shouldn't be any problems there.
