What do you think about user names? Is it okay to use the same in all poker rooms, or do you think it is better to stay reserved after several nicknames? At the moment, I have the same in all rooms
I have different nicknames but that was not intentional because all of them were created at different time and by the time of registering in new room I never liked the ones that I had. But over time I found that having different nicknames gives you an advantage. If you play long enough the same field you get an idea about certain regs' game and I can't tell how many times while multirooming I was sitting at the same table with the same player who had no idea I'm playing at his table in two different rooms right now. Obviously it gives you a lot of info.
I have a nickname by the way in all poker rooms, where I registered the same, and it does not bother me, so be it. I'm already used to it, but if I could change it to pokerstars, I could have changed it for something else.

A good way to have anonymity is to play at ignition if your really worried about a nickname. When you develop a balanced strategy I don't think it would matter that much. I've had different nicknames on almost every site, but not on purpose.
I only have two nicknames in poker because I only have 2 accounts and I'm not afraid to post them: 888 poker-AlexaSorin83 and pokerstars-ssory83. I'm waiting for me next to me.
I have different names in poker rooms, but I know many players who have the same names in different poker rooms, I think that some want to be incognito!
