Hi Guys,

This is my first ever post here at cardschat, so hey, everybody. This and Pocket Fives seem to be two of the more talked about online message boards so I decided to join up and see what's what.

As the title states, I am wanting to find out where the juicy payouts for tournament games and the largest prize pools for freerolls reside on the internet. I almost forgot to mention that I am in the U.S., which from what I have read, severely limits my online poker options.

As luck would have it tho, I checked out Carbon Poker today to see if they had any freerolls I could play in and was pleased to see that they offer a freeroll that is exclusive to cardchat members, which is how I ended up back here. :D

Here is a rundown of the sites I have accounts with as of today. All of these were found online after extensive research using Google. BetOnline, America's Cardroom, Carbon Poker, Bovada, Lock Poker, juicy stakes, Poker Host, SportsBetting, Sportsbook Poker, and intertops Poker. (I can only imagine the spyware that is crawling around my hard drive as these keys are pressed) Of the aforementioned sites, the only ones I have spent much time on is America's Cardroom and BetOnline, which brings me to my next point.

BetOnline is pretty good for freerolls. They have all-day $10, $25, $50, and $100 freerolls and a once a day $200 European Nooner and $300 Nooner Freeroll. I actually placed in the top 50 in the $300 Nooner last week and made a whopping $3. LOL. America's Cardroom is kinda the antithesis of BOL, as the only freeroll they offer is the $10 On Demand tourney and a few satellites that are next to impossible to qualify for. I have placed in the top 10 a handful of times in the $10 On Demands in the week or two that I have been playing the tables there and got to a bankroll of about $10 bucks but that's after spending hours on end playing for literally pennies. I also have got as far as the third round of the 50K GTD freeroll and made it to the Weekly Final but busted out before reaching a seat at the $200 buy-in. Like so many that have come before me, I'm just sick of playing for what is more or less Monopoly money. I'm not opposed to making a deposit here and there cuz I know that's probably the only way to really build a decent-sized bankroll nowadays, but time is money and playing for small potatoes is getting old fast. It's only been two week and I'm not exactly finding pots of gold buried on the internet.

Hopefully, someone out there can help point me in the right direction.

Thanks and Long Live Poker!

AKM

Options are plenty

I prefer to play only one, but honestly there good games to play at most the sites. I think you would need to choose a couple that run games you are looking at playing in. For me Carbon is where I play, but only cause it does run good games in my range I typically enjoy playing in. Everybody has their own opinion and may think Carbon isn't any good. In the end, with a little research, you will find the one or two right for you.

Yes plenty of options and everyone has a different like. I do like the clients that offer the P2P transfer. I find that very cool.

I sent you a pm, check it out. This may even show something for you. But if you found CardsChat through the Carbon network you will probably already know of some more ways to get involved in poker online.

I am a new member, sort of. But do say welcome to CardsChat. Check out the section on the CardsChat Social Media Club, where you will be invited to join in freerolls hosted on the pokerstars network. There is also a link for the directions on how about to download the PS client.

Black Chip just started freerolls on demand that kick off when 270 register, however late reg runs for quite a while and it usually winds up being 450+. Top spot pays two bucks. This site is available to US players too.

I'm a relatively new player but rarely take part in public freerolls anymore, it's no longer fun to spend 3+ hours dodging land mines and donks shoving any two suited cards just to take away a whopping 50 cents. CC freerolls are much better, the Bovada game pays $54 to the top spot, I think Carbon is $30, with Black Chip it depends on how many register but I think it's usually $25 or so. I've been in the freeroll club for about 3-4 months and still have yet to see a starting field of over 100 players except for special events, some of these folks are really tough to play against too and that will improve your game.

I don't know about public freerolls but our private ones are great value. I am assuming you are in the US - we have freerolls at Carbon, BCP, Lock and Bovada for US players.

It is well worth the effort to qualify but will take you about a month.

Also we will have a freeroll in early Nov for members of our Social Media Club:

Hi Unfinished business. You have now been on the site for a year, and have been doing some posting, so I assume you have qualified for the freeroll tournament passwords supplied by cardschat.

I am here for a similar reason (finding sites with freerolls for non depositing players). I have been playing on-line for about 10 years, and up until a couple of months ago, have deposited and played in normal tourneys. I tended to stay away from the "open" freerolls as there were huge amounts of players with very small pots. I thought it was a very small return on my investment (investment in time anyway).

I don't believe anyone is going to be making any significant money doing this (although it is always possible), but the reason that I am doing it is for the challenge. A couple of times, I have won a few dollars, and then I try to build this up to as high as possible. I have found that I can build it up playing the micro games, as the player's skill level is low, but then have more trouble as I move up the stakes and meet more experienced players.

There are two types of sites—free poker sites and real money poker sites. Most players assume that for players with no bankroll, instant no deposit poker sites are the way to go. But here’s the thing. Most free poker rooms that you play for free don’t actually reward you with real money. The truth? Real money poker sites are the best place to play freeroll tournament poker.

Freeroll poker no deposit sites let you play for free or for real. It’s your choice. But because the sites want to lure you in and get you to eventually play for real money, they tend to offer more freeroll poker tournaments for real money prizes than the free-only poker rooms. If your goal is to build your bankroll, deciding which site to play at is a no-brainer.

I played them for a few days, placed in a few... the thing is the software crashes on me everytime i open up a table now. It was really weird timing, and the staff is very robot like. i'd recomend full flush or carbon...full flush sometimes doesnt have too many people playing though.

both full flush and carbon i deposited on through western transfer without a problem.

:jd4: ;)
