Hey all,
new to this site? i just have a few questions on protocol at a poker table so i don't get my self into trouble.
say blinds are 3000/6000.. when i am raising or re raising from the small blind. is it protocol to put the differential of 3000$ in Blinds on top of my cards before i announce raise....and then throw out my raise or is that considered a string bet? or should i just throw out the raise consisting of the 3000$ differential of blinds along w/ the raise all in one shot?? say i wanted to make it 9500$ total, should i put 3000$ on my cards then toss out another 3500$ or just throw 6500$ out all in one shot?
also what is the rule when u can take back your blinds. i see on tv like poker after dark, they reach in and add chips to the blinds yet they take some chips back. are they just putting out different chips? or what is the logic behind that. i know they have to keep the blinds the same but why take out chips and add different ones??
thanks for all your help everybody
