I've never played poker online but I want to give it a shot. I am coming here to ask what site would be best for a beginner and with simple deposit/withdraw methods. When looking at most poker sites, it seems that the fastest way is to have an eWallet, but I don't know which one to sign up for. neteller wouldn't allow me to register being from the United States. Any suggestions?

with ewallet you can buy into fulltilt which is what i have recently moved to again, real easy to find a game of your liking decently quickly... besides that i also like ultimate bet and pokerstars, ultimatebet is still one of the few sites i know of you can still use a visa to cash in while a US resident

Full Tilt and poker stars are the two big ones that accept USA players. You can find about any type of game and buy in amount. Both offer many ways to deposit to play.

Here's the link for bonus codes. Good luck and welcome to CC.

What ewallet can I use for FullTilt? I must be overlooking it on their site. Can I deposit and withdraw with an ewallet? What are the minimum amounts for Full Tilt for ewallet deposit/withdraw?
Thanks for the help.

Deposit:

http://www.fulltiltpoker.com/single-click-deposit

(instant check is free and also you will be set up to withdraw from that method)

Withdraw:

http://www.fulltiltpoker.com/withdrawal

(sometimes the instant check option wasn't there, everytime I have withdrew from this method a different names appears on the transaction log, it is a free service)

From my experiences, Full Tilt is the best online poker room, that accepts American players. It's got a lot of game choices, and has really good software.

If you decide to sign up at any other sites, you might check on signing up through CC link. Helps the forum & gets you some perks also.

Yea, I read some threads about that just after I registered. Hopefully I can get into some of those tournaments for CC later on.
