Whats the difference between the .net and the .com freerolls?
Iv noticed that 2 people go threw on the . com game and only 1 on the .net game which has more players!

Is my computer slow or is it just difficult to get in to a .com game as Iv only managed to get in once, very frustrating:confused:

What are you talking about? Like Fulltilt.com/.net or ultimatebet.com/.net? Those have absolutely nothing to do with getting into one of their freerolls

i think he is asking what the differnce is between the 2. full tilt offers 2 freerolls for the face the ace tourney. one is a .com which 2 go on and the other is a .net which only one goes on. i dont know what the difference is. other then the starting field and pay outs.

.com is the real money log-in site
.net is the Play Chip log-in site

Reasonable that FT would give a better deal to players who 'more likely' have $$$ in their accounts.

Oh, I gotcha. I don't remember the last time I looked at the regular member freerolls on any of the poker sites so I just figured he was talking about the actual website fulltilt.com vs fulltilt.net

This is true. But the perplexing thing is that you can register under either one with no difference.

I think it's just a ruse so they can say to a U.S. court that the person living in the U.S. was on a play money account and shouldn't be playing for real money.

Another thing. I don't know if they changed this or not, but a while back you couldn't upload an avatar with a .net acct.

yea they have to advertise the .net so thats its legal :p. and of course its double the amount of players and im pretty sure it only pays one. I never met anyone that has downloaded from fulltiltpoker.net :p. Full tilt has the best freerolls bar-none (whatever that means) Pstarts is a close second. they also have a 7500 man satty to the daily dollar.. havent played it though, would just rather spend the dollar :p

their ads are .net but how many people see it and go to .com instead?
to answer the OP the .com freerolls for face the ace are a lot harder to get into but there's a 4 times better chance to win. the .net's pay 1 in 360(359 to 1) and the .com pay 2 of 180(89 to 1). i tried to get in a few but it fills way too fast. i did play a few late at night but sort of lost interest in it. good luck.

it is hard

I get in about every 3 out of 4 .com tournaments, i do not bother with the .net ones since they come about every 10 minutes compared to every 4 minutes of the .com ones and also 2 people get through the .com ones. On a laptop, if you have a touchpad which it should just non stoppp clicking, with a mouse it is harder since a clicker does not work as well. click as fast as possible when the time is near. GOOD LUCK

The .com freerolls have less players max, and award 2 winners. While the net have more players and only award one winner. They literally fill up in the blink of an eyelash so most of the time you'll have to settle with the .net ones.

Don't agree that FT and/or PS have the best freerolls. FT ones fill up too quickly, and give $15 first prize with 2,699 opponents. PS ones you have to play against thousands of opponents and still only win entry to another subsequent tourney. bodog freerolls are the best that I have found, with $500 prize money (apart from the CC private freerolls, of course). So I play for money at pokerstars, and freerolls at Bodog! :p

ok my response to this is that the reason only 1 gets in on the 360 games is because of the simple reason that no one with a faster computer will try and qualify for those, meaning only people who really have the money for a faster computer will b able to compete in the 180 player freerolls which is what ftp wants, people with more money competing, or maybe it's just because they felt people who take the time to start clicking early on the 180's deserve a better chance then those who easily squeeze into the 360 tourny's. i'm not quite sure of ftp's real philosophy on this one for the face the ace freerolls

Well, for the freerolls with 180 players, all I do is watch the time the tournament starts, compare it to the clock in the Full Tilt application, and when it gets to that time, I just rapid click where the Register button will appear. If you do this for the full minute or so, you will get in the tournament most, if not all, of the time. Winning them is ridiculous though. You have to go through three rounds. :( At least you can keep trying whenever you want.

These are hard to get in 2. You have to have a REALLY fast connection, and when the games pop you have literally a second to click register.

the problem with rapid clicking is u can click into register and if u doubleclick u unregister that is if u are using a mouse been there done that

I think it is just a name. If there is some legal difference, it is beyond me. FTP has no issues with the USA legal system that I know of except they cannot have their base of operations in USA.

I've get in the 180 game once in a while - probably when Europe and Africa are sleeping. I don't mind going into the 360. There are two other FreeRolls for the Main Event Race which operate the same way. the lessor tables move 2 players on and the 450 seat only one moves on. Both of these operate just like the Poker After Dark freerolls last year.

I don't understand why the difference between the two -- in my mind it is backwards; the 360 and 450 seat games should be the ones moving two players to the next level. There must be a reason because the PAD tournements were the same way last year:rolleyes: .

The .com games are very difficult to get into because there are just so many people who want to get into them. People see the larger amount of entrants and fewer winners in the .net games and they consider it somewhat useless, allowing more time for people like you to register for them. For the .com freerolls however, people stalk them lke crazy so they fill up in about a tenth of a second. Often your connection is not even fast enough to see the button before the tournament has reached its maximum capacity.
