It may be too late for Cereus to repair their reputation but I am glad to see they are putting out some new game features for their sites. Hopefully this will draw some new players and fill the tables faster.

Release Date: July 23th, 2010

Bring Back City

This feature was brought back for security purposes. Players will now be able to view from what city a player is playing. It also makes our tables more transparent by bringing this feature back so that players can choose if they want to play against certain players from a certain location.
HU Multi-table SnGs

We are introducing Heads-up multi-table SnGs. Players will be able to play heads-up in a multi-table format. Beat your opponent and move to the next stage.
Mixed Games SnGs

We are introducing Mixed Games SnGs. Players will be able to play several different types of games in our SnG structure. If you love playing several different types of games and SnGs, keep a look out for our new Mixed Games SnGs.
Triple or Nothing SnGs

A Triple or Nothing SnG is a tournament where a third of the players win triple their buy-in back (minus the fee). It is different from a regular SnG tournament because it doesn't play out to determine one winner. Instead, a third of the field will win triple their buy-in back. Triple or Nothing SnGs are available as 6-seated and 9-seat tournaments. In a 6-seated Triple or Nothing, the final two players will win triple their buy-in back. In a 9-seated, the final three will win. For example, in a 9-seated $5+0.50 Triple or Nothing, the tournament will play down to the final three. Once three players are left, the tournament will stop and the three players each win $15 (triple their buy-in). A 6-seated SnG works the same way, except only two players are crowned winners.
Double or Nothing SNG's

A Double or Nothing SnG is a tournament where half the field walks away with double the original buy-in (minus the fee). It works by treating the final four in an 8-seated SnG and the final two in a 4-seated SnG as winners. The tournament ends as soon as half of the players are left. For example, in a $5+0.50 Double or Nothing snG with 8 players, each player who makes it to the final four will win $10. The tournament will not play out to determine the first place winner once the final four (8-seated) and final two (4-seated) are reached.

Yeah I am especially excited to see the triple or nothing and Double or Nothing games. I hope they have the micro levels and maybe expand to HE PLO and PLO8. That would be really good.

Thanks for the inforamtion! Just transfered some funds from UB to AP to be able to play there in some private SnG's. Did see the triple or nothings that caught my eye.

Last I read they were seeing more traffic and an increase in new members. Maybe it's not to late to save their reputation.

I sure hope not. I mean there is a big difference between the types of cheating but cheating does happen on all sites. Just a matter of if they get caught or not.

I got money stolen from me at FTP and there was cheating at PS. No site is safe.

Hope to see more people getting their faith back in AP at the very least.

Triple or nothing sounds good. I have played the Double or nothing games on Cake and usually won, but long term you need to win 7 out of 10 to get relatively more than your buyin back. Basically the triple sounds like a three way split among the cash positions so if you normally cash you can play more games since you don't have to play out the last two spots. The SNG games are pretty light on this site, so maybe this will bring more people out.

No software update arrived and it seems the features i mentioned have been removed from future updates? At least they are no longer listed in the updates section.

Apparently an update was pushed starting 7/23 and this update includes HU MTT games and Mixed game SnGs?

Has anyone received this update?

Actually I would trade in all of the new features if the players would return. The games are so dead. I wanted to play a micro ring PLO game today and only one 4-max table had any people at it. That's insane.

So it seems none of the games mentioned in my OP have been released. The software updates page claims there are now Multi Player HU tourneys but I have yet to find one. Has anyone seen these or any of the other new features that were slated for release?
