Unreal. I like some of the concepts Doyle's Room has introduced, specifically the Quickdraws, but the new Carnage SnG's might as well be slots.

Here's the description...

"The all new Carnage Tournaments are here!!

Where Texas Hold'em meets intense casino action. Test your luck with this one of a kind poker game known as single-handed carnage. One hand is all you need to defeat your opponents. Everyone stars with two cards, dealt face up and you're automatically all-in on the first hand. A second hand may be played if the winning players tie.

Try our newest and fastest Texas Hold'em tournament today!"

It's 50 cents & ten handed, paying the top 2 $3.50 & $1.50.

What amazes me is that there are people signed up for it. Why not bet on flipping a coin?

You have a 1 in 5 chance of winning money (2 out of 10 cash). So for every 2.50 you play you either win a dollar (3.50) or lose a dollar (1.50) statistically.

And I agree I'd never play it.

Thats like when people at tables "flip" a hand and everyone goes all in preflop or bets x amount and then dont bet after that. I've heard about high stakes players flipping for thousands of dollars, which is really crazy. I imagine thats what the inspiration for these tournaments must have been.
