Anyone been playing these?

I just recently started playing them and I thought the play on the 2700 person freefolls was bad, whew.

I have won one with a lot of luck, only had about 7k in chips when we got to the final table and the next smallest stack was 25k. Caught a couple good hands and was right back in it and then won the dang thing. But even that far along they will still play any two cards and suck out, it's ugly at times.

Oh and I made paragraphs this time. In one of my responses I typed it all in one big block and one very nice member pointed out how it was very hard to read.

Hope this makes it easier :D

I have played in a few. Havent' cashed yet. They are super hard to get into due to the small field. I don't even bother with the .net as it's twice the field and only one ticket for grabs.

ps--- Good job on the win.

Good job! I agree the .com are the ones to play as 2 places are paid at 100 FTPs. It seems that they come up every 5 minutes or so. The problem that I see is what do you do with the 100pts- you have to enter another 50 pt tourney (really a 9 person Sitngo) and place in the top 2 to get into the Daily Dollar tourney. Might be better just to do 18:25 one and try and make into the top 200.

They are satellites for a trip to Vegas, not the Daily Dollar.

YES

omfg I just typed out such a long response describing my experience with them, getting to finals from round 1, round 2 freerolls, etc. then hit BACKSPACE a couple times on my keyboard and it got wiped out. Let me know if you badly wanna read something from me, and I'll re-tell the story.

Sure I'll read it.

And I had the same thing happen to me on here once, only I timed out I guess. Really sucked and I never retyped it, lol.

okay, I'll try to keep it short.
A couple weeks ago I played the round 1 freerolls hardcore, usually playing 1-4 at a time. Would get 1st-2nd once in a while, and immediately use ticket for Round 2. Around my 3rd or 4th try on round 2 I won the tournament and advanced to the wsop freeroll final (I was pretty proud of this because only like 80-100 people of all the many thousands trying manage it). Played the final, everything went well, half field died out and i had > average chips. Then got AA and lost to AK (diamonds), I won't explain exactly how the hand went because I'm afraid I may be to blame for losing. Well, raised 3X BB and someone called in later pos. and flop came 8 9 10 (two diamonds), I pot-bet (not liking the board one bit- 3 to a straight and flush draw, but i didnt put him on a hand like QJ- this was Greeneknight, someone who seemed to be playing very solid and later won 10k in this mtt) and he called my bet. turn came another diamond. I checked. he bet pot, I called (I should have immediately folded AA here when potential flush hit? ugh tough spot it was, fkin tough lol), river paired board, he pot bet, i threw in the rest of my stack which was about 3k, when avg was 7k. he showed AK diamonds and won. my fault, but gross situation.
Since then i haven't been playing them as devotedly as before, was very disappointing to put in that work to get there then lose. It's daunting to re-try but i may yet.

If you're going to play em gl its an intense battlefield. I suggest you try to play 2-4 at a time and that you shrug off the bad beats and just register for another, just focus on playing better than everyone else. eventually if you play very well I'd say 1 in 10-20 games you should be getting a ticket otherwise maybe you're game isn't good enough :D,
even if you dont manage to its good practise at least.
and when you lose round 2, dont beat yourself up about it, ive lost it and it hurts but just remember that even by winning round 2 you're still so far away from top 8 in a 900 player mtt full of at least 100-200 exceptional players.

I'd play them all the time, except for the fact of waiting for them to pop and missing registering because how quickly they fill up. So I usually end up playing a few a night then calling it quits. I've only gotten 2nd and 3rd and they've become total all-in fests. It's funny when your switched from table to table to table before you even get to play a hand. So I have a love hate relationship with them. Tho it's nice to play in a small freeroll after they thin out.

Good job on your round 2 win, I havn't won that one yet, I have been to tired each time I played it. lol

Coolnout,
Right before the register now button pops ups, just start clicking real fast where it is going to pop up. You will get in most of them that way. ;)
