Negative rakeback for Cardschat freerolls?

Does anyone else experience this? It wasn't a steep negative rakeback, i think maybe up to 3%, but I was just kind of surprised (first time in Cardschat freeroll btw).

You get negative rakeback for every freeroll or tournament with overlay you play. Also if you receive bonuses or use your FTPs to buy something.

Uh wow that is crazy. I thought that only applied to freerolls that full tilt pays for?? Considering CC puts up the 200 bucks it kind of makes me mad that FTP takes rakeback for it.

FT contributes some of the money added to our games - so that probably impacts it.

You're going to take a rakeback hit for just about any money added game, and also if you spend you points (FTP's).

Still, rakeback is a great deal.

Hmmm, this is news to me. Wasn't aware that playing in freerolls affected rakeback. I'm sure it is only a small amount though so not too bad.

I guess i should read the fine print more often. I had no idea they did this when you buy something with points.

I just used something like 6100 to get a book. Then after reading this today checked how much rakeback it would cost me.

This is what I come up with:
Items bought in the FT store (at $0.005 per point from your rake - or $0.00135 from your rakeback 27%). So $0.00135 x 6100 = $8.24. I guess nothing in life is free. The Idea I had to save points for an over priced wide screen is pretty much shot now, lol.

When you buy tourney tickets I take it they charge you for that too? What if there is an overlay on a tourney where you purchased the ticket with points? Do they get you twice for that?

Anyway I won't bitch too much about finding things out the hard way. The extra $"s every week are still nice even if they do penalize you for buying things with points and what not I guess.
