If you're not from the US, I'd suggest playing on Titan for SNG play. They have a zillion different sng structures to choose from (even for STT). The players on Titan are terribad too.... about as bad as the ones on Bodog.
As far as Bodog goes.... I was just about to post about how bad my experience has been on that site. I don't know what it is about the software there but it completely messes with my computer (I can usually open as many sites as I want and have a dozen tables open & running.... although I usually only multi-table around 6-7 max., and can open a bunch of other programs as well and never a problem... BUT when I'm running Bodog, I open just one table on Bodog and I find it freezing up my computer and completely messing me up.).
Personally I preferred Fulltilt over Pokerstars when I was first starting out and playing micro sngs. There's just too many loose calling stations on Pokerstars in the micros to even resemble poker imo.
Whatever site you choose, I think that starting out by playing sngs is a good idea. Advice to ya... stick to one format and try not to switch around very much (ie. if it's 9-plyr. sngs... stick with them... and then choose turbo or reg. and stick to that too). Not until you've played for awhile would I switch around from one game type to another. There's also ALOT of micro buyin, large-field MTT's on Stars that are pretty easy to cash in with some consistency which might help to sway you that way. I liked Fulltilt better and still do today. (and play on half a dozen sites fairly regularly but the majority of my time is on Fulltilt).
