I've found entertaining Heads Up Shootout competitions at FullTilt ... Try them out. You could even pick up a nice piece of change if you make it through to the major tournament (Televised Heads Up Championship). (Located at "Play Money" Sit and Go table.)

they only run so many at a time, I am guessing you have to be pretty quick to get in one of these, similar to the antonius sng's or the poker after dark ones

Heads-Up Practice grounds...

Yeah, this is a great satellite tournament to the NBC's NATIONAL HEADS-UP CHAMPIONSHIP....

but it's going to be nearly impossible to win it... so, I see it more as a practice ground... for my real cash heads-up games... work on your game, and feel out some of the players early on...

I love Heads-Up... you got to stay on top of your game all of the time... one mistake could cost you the game... and the only one to blame here is yourself...

what place you finish in?

I just did this tourney.... took me about 2 hours to get down to the final 8....

I took down my last guy, with an all in... and catch my straight on the river....

but I eventually got knocked out in 4th place

I have a straight and the other guy got lucky and made a full house....

Yeah, you kind of have to be fast like the .COM PAD tourneys.. but it doesn't go quite as quick as they do. It fills up in about 5 seconds, as opposed to the 2 seconds that the .COM PAD tourneys take to fill up.

1 hour and 45 minutes into the heads up tourney.. just made it to the final 8.

Finished at 8th place.. was the first to be out in the Top 8. Had K/3 on the BB. Villain called SB, I checked. 6/K/6 came out. He ended up having a 5/6 with betting all through the river. I put him all-in, which left me with 60 chips at the end of the hand. I won 3 hands in a row to start my comeback, but then lost the 4th one.

I saw these sit&gos going on and thought too bad they don't give Full Tilt Points to the 2nd round. I guess it just makes you play to win.

Yep. And even if you don't win its a very fun tourney. Play 3 or 4 at a time so the action is non-stop, and maybe one will take you to the semi-finals

I'm trying it, and down to 16 - well almost, the waiting for the other tables is the worst...
but way like the wsop sng's that run or pad...but why not

I find them relaxing. I can actually watch a TV program waiting on rounds.

Gotta be the softest field of any FR's I've seen on the web. :)

I qualified for Saturday's session. I too found them relaxing; had two tables running at the same time, and still time to step away occasionally.

Thats right more practice than anything else impossible to get all the way through it seriously you have a better chance getting hit by lightning:joyman:

These tournies are not as fast to register as ANTONIUS 180 man tournies but they fill up quickly..For some reason..I just love playing heads up and it really helps me practice my poker game..Play them and you'll understand..They pop up every 5 minutes so be alert and have fun..Maybe try and learn something too..Take Care
