are they going to ban me? I apologized and explained that it was only to spare myself from losing everything at once. Everything is frozen and I am being checked out. I really don't want to loose my money. My brothers account is also frozen, will they also ban him?

What were you doing with the multiple accounts ? If you were attempting to collude, then pokerstars will know, and you have little hope of getting any money back.

Possibly - your reason doesn't make any sense to me and probably won't to them either. If you were both playing from the same IP if they ban one they will most likely ban them all.

How much money do you have in all of the accounts?

but I don't lie and don't cheat. Hopefully won't get banned but we do both play from the same IP adress

That is when they froze everything, I tried to cash-out 500 dollars

I transferred money from and to my other account and too my brothers account and he transferred money back. And when I tried to cash-out it was all frozen

Does anybody know how long it takes for them to decide whether or not somebody will be banned?

You should have read the TOS before investing 2000 $.

I would have read them before depositing 20 but that's just me.

How many accounts did you open at PokerStars? Excluding your brother's account.

Just wait and see then. If there was no collusion between the accounts then you might have a chance.

Give it a week or so. If you dont get it resolved, it would probably be best just to come clean to stars, apologise and promise not to do it again.

Oh and go read their TOS.

I already came clean and I cashed-out a week ago my account has been frozen 5 days so hopefully it will be resolved, otherwise it sucks big time.

This happened to me and my 2 brothers. We got it sorted out after we could prove we were all separate people. We all still play at the same house and transfer money to each other no problems

Why would you want to use two accounts? I can only see one reason for it, and that not being a good reason.

If you did anything wrong, played in the same games etcetc..which they will inspect each and every hand then you have zero chance of getting your money back and rightly so..

If it's innocent, then you should have you account reopened.

Hang on?? So if someone deposits $2,000.00 and uses $500 to cheat they lose the whole $2,000.00?
It seem as if crime does pay.................................... for the poker sites, lol.:pcguru:

It is stated clearly in the TOS that any breach can lead to you forfeiting all monies in your account, so your post is not making any sense. If you deposit $1,000,000.00 and use 1$ to cheat, you can lose it all.

Unless the sarcasm missed me.

Yep, it was a (sarcastic) joke.

It is stated clearly in the TOS that any breach can lead to you forfeiting all monies in your account, so your post is not making any sense. If you deposit $1,000,000.00 and use 1$ to cheat, you can lose it all.

Unless the sarcasm missed me.

The sarcasm didn't go over your head one bit.

I think the weirdest thing about Cardschat is that people who are caught out by poker sites breaking the rules (cheating) then join this site and cry about it.

It happens all the time and of course they are always innocent.

The second weirdest thing about Cardschat is that ever since my very first post on here https://www.cardschat.com/forum/general-poker-13/oldest-poker-software-160413/ (which was a post about gut feelings) people have bawled me out about the poker sites TOS as if I am an ignorant fool.

The use of a poker sites TOS in a reply to a post smacks of arrogance and laziness and as I am probably not the first to be targeted like this I reckon that from now on people who use TOS that way in posts should be referred to as TOSsers.
