Hey,

Just a warning to everyone. I recently allowed my friend to create an account on Full Tilt. The problem was he had created one at home before this one and they have frozen my account due to multiple accounts. So be careful when you are creating account on Full Tilt. I'm currently awaiting for them to respond to my third email on the issue.

This is true the world over my friend. You may get away with it for awhile but eventually, it will catch up to you.

Question

Thanks a lot by the information.
I invite a friend for opening an account on Full Tilt.
He will come at my home and I will teach him how to open the account.
If he uses his laptop in my house, can I have problems?

I HATE THESE PEOPLE.... i once knew this kid that had like 5 acounts and would sign all of them on to every tourny he plays , .. i mean dang dude ,it messes up the payout and is just plain BS , its the biggest part of no rebuy tournys ,, one chance so play smart , i wish there was a way of making our freeroll preregisterd so we dont have to deal with all of the extras.. i like this site alot , it gives me a chance to vent and talk poker , and a great chance to build a bank roll from nuthin . oh well maybe the mods will find a solution for this , they have done so well with ever thing else

as allways the best of luck on the felts , ROBERT

If it would show him registering from your IP address, yes, for example if he plugged a network cable from your router into his laptop to connect to the internet. If he has his own mobile broadband USB modem, for example, and therefore has a different IP address to you, no.

Well, he wasn't trying to open multiple accounts as a way to gain an advantage.

He just didn't write down his info, and after we tried to figure out his password and login name it was just easier for him to open another account. I believe this problem arised because the accounts were all formed on the same IP address.

I can understand FT's point of view, it is better for all of us who play online. This way we know that we aren't playing a Sit and Go where three of the people are really the same person. As of yet, I sent a message to them at 6 pm, 9pm, and 11 pm, and I still haven't heard anything from them yet. I can't sign on, it keeps saying my password is incorrect. I even tried a temp password as if I had forgotten it but they also won't let me on with this. As they have sent me multiple emails about "multiple accounts" I keep sending them messages stating that only one account is mine. They need a better system of communicating with their clients. The emails take too long, and they only send generic responses. I wish they had a phone number...

I agree with you on this. Cardschat has one of the best freerolls I have run into. Unfortunately for me I won 20 bucks in a freeroll here and subsequently lost it all playing sit n gos. I have learned alot through the process and now win more often than not (usually 4th place!!!) and believe that if I can win some more money I can hopefully not need to rely on the freerolls. Not that I wouldn't still play them.

Good luck on the felt, hope to see you there.

ft has caught me for having multiple accounts on their site, which i admittedly did to score the bonuses. they closed down 2 of my side accounts and sent me a respectful email explaining why, referring to their site rules & regulations. i apologised in the email reply and asked if they could consolidate the funds in the 2 accounts that they froze to my main account, and they said yes, they would do so. funds moved in about 3 business days.

thats why i always have respect and trust for full tilt, best support imo.

This is why I don't like FT. People like you cheat to get that money and they still let you keep it. You were trying to cheat to get ahead and score bonuses. They should have frozen all of your accounts and banned you from the site.

Unless you are completely new to online poker, you should know that multiple accounts are a no no. Recently Full Tilt busted (I think he might have been one of their pros, if not he is pro) Brian Townsend from cardrunners. If their gonna bust a pro, they will eventually find out and bust anyone else. And if they freeze your account and you have money on it, you may be screwed.

yes, it was wrong. but i cant say im sorry. who would say no to a fast n sure way of making extra money?

im not endorsing the use of multiple accts on a single site to earn their bonuses, just sharing my personal experience with multi-ing.

and why are u so worked up, it's not like i cheated by taking money off other players like a superuser does, i had to grind and win pots using my own ability to unlock the bonuses. take a chill pill yeah.
