Multi-tabling seems to be mainly used to grind out bonuses at online poker rooms. Does anyone ever multi-table just because they find it a more enjoyable way to play poker? And is anyone consistently profitable running a series of tables all the time?

Doh! Sorry, I think this subject belongs in a different part of the forum - possibly in Strategy or Poker in General. Don't know how to shift it though...

I can't remember the last time I had a poker bonus, and I multitable all of the time. Not only do I think it's more enjoyable, but I think the amount of money I make hourly is greater multitabling.

I agree with Bill. You see so many more hand. I find playing different tourneys on different sites at the same time really helps.

I dont mind playing 2 tables at once, but this has both negative and positive effects:

+ As bill said the amount of money you make hourly is greater multi-tabling.
+ When getting a run of bad cards at one table you still dont get tempted to play weaker hands as you´re in the action at the other table.

- You cant possibly be pick up as much info while playing more than one table
- You might get stressed when you get to tough decisions at the same time and in worst case make mistakes in both hands

Whenever I´m playing tournaments I like to have a little something at the side but in the later stages I prefer concentrating at one table
