I have been offline for over a year now due to computer problems. I went on some sites that I had money on and found a zero balance. Did the US make them zero them out?

I just reinstalled full tilt poker since it came back up, even though I know US players can't play real money games on there anymore, but figured I would just have it on my comp, just in case we will again some day. And the $150 I had there is all gone. There's nothing on my account but 572.80 FTP points, and 1 Weekly Freeroll Ticket that I won a long time ago.

I didn't even realize I could open the FTP client. After reading this thread, I tried, and sure enough - it opened. Like Mortis, my balance shows as $0.00, but my Full Tilt Points are there. I recall that before they shut the site down entirely, they converted by tournament tickets to cash. I took a screen shot of my balance some time after Black Friday so I would have some evidence of my balance.

The other thing I noticed is there is a logo at the bottom of the cashier page saying "Your funds are safe with Rational Group".

I hope so.

Just opened a game (that I couldn't play) and saw a player that I had notes on - notes were still there.

I'm waxing nostalgic....

US player FTP $$s are now in the hands of the US government. Supposedly they are working on the remission process you will have to go through to get your $$s. You will NOT get your $$s directly from FTP.

As for the OP, I have no idea about Iron Duke but I do know that their funds were not seized by the US govt.

Oh that's right...we'll get our money from whatever third-party provider the US Gov't hires. If I recall, they were going to decide on a provider this month.

Some day....

OP As for Pokerhost, here is one of the terms that may say way you have $.0.00 in your account. Oh and they still are taking US players.http://www.pokerhost.com/aboutus/termsandconditions
Abandonment of Account Balance

The Company reserves the right to cancel your Account for any reason whatsoever at any time without notice to you pursuant to the terms of this Agreement. If you do not access your Account by "logging in to your Account using your Account Name and password for a period of one hundred and eighty (180) consecutive days: (a) your Account may be closed and the entire Account Balance will be deemed abandoned and forfeited; and (b) the Company may close any account you may have with an ESP; provided however, such requirement for log-in and entry is not and does not constitute any requirement whatsoever for you to play any Game, deposit funds or participate in any activity at our website other than logging in.

I am pretty sure I read that IronDuke had closed but PokerHost is still operating. (they are two of the Merge network poker sites as far as I know)
http://www.ironduke.eu/ It looks like a 5 year old did up the site, and still shows it's part of Merge yet.
