What is the best way to handle Money Management? I'm still struggling with this even after all these years of playing.

The best way is to have discipline. If you don't have it then don't play.

Steps have always been good to me. I have one I use for sit n gos where If I go on a run I can play whatever the max buy ins are for that site. Main thing is sticking to the plan.

There is one important thing. No type of money management will help you if you are a losing player. It will take more time, but finally you will lose all your money.

The money management is for those who have positive ROI and don't want to lose their money because of variance.

Yep exactly right. Losing players should stick to freeroll winnings and try to build up. If you see positive yearly results then kick in with the money management process.

This is what I use and it has been great! Could someone explain that cashout though? Am I supposed to cashout in each level? But if I cash out 125 dollars after NL2 when I reach 300, I only have 175 dollars left and that once again isn't enough for NL5. I know I am probably not seeing what the cashout here means but I hope someone can explain it to me :D

The key is to keep building a roll. Maybe cashout starting investment so you can never lose money but thats about it. I have always took freeroll money and built up. You never lose a dine and never play with scared money.

I think that next to the stairs you have an explanation.
For example in first level, when you got $110 you cashout $31 if you got later $120 you cashout $31 and so on. So after completing the step number one you have cashouted 125$. :)

Everything is simple, gain the required amount do cash out, then rolled again for that amount and move to the next limit

Thank you! I have no idea how I have missed that even though it's right there, written next to the stairs. I have been so focused on the actual stairs. But now I know, thanks! :)

Very good images Serjo600. If you did not use the images of him you can look for other sites like intellipoker and pokerstrategy, there besides the control of the bankroll you will learn strategies for it

I don't agree with the most comments. I never did bankroll management in the way which some sites write. my expierence is that are not so many donks at higher buy ins. I start many years ago with 200 $ bankroll and start at nl with 0.50/1. but I must say that I played some years live before I started online. at Omaha its little more difficult. here I think u should start very low.....

Well, I think most of the players would be eaten alive if they would jump right to the big ones. There are less donks for sure but there are also the players who are actually good so winning against them would be much harder. I would hope to see some donks in there as well since those are the players you win your money from. For me it is so satisfying to build that bankroll from basically nothing and slowly work my way to the top. I gain important experience along the way and don't bite too big piece at once. Downswings are also something that WILL happen to you so good bankroll management is crucial for surviving those times.

1) Never harm your life out of tables for poker
2)Never lie to yourself about your skill
3)Your bankroll and your skill will determine the limit you will play
4)If you are skillful and have few money you'll play freerolls and/or microlimits
5)If you aren't skillful but have a lot of money, play within your control of how money you may waste.
6)If you have money, stablish stop loss for hour, day, week and month.
7)Calculate your average profits per game.
8)Play with a comfortable Bankroll to your bad beats doesn't harm your A Game.
9)The most problem in learn to play a profitable poker is that we guess to know more than trully we know, ever.
10) Look for a coach as fast as now. Players waste more money playing than studying with a coach.

Working full time with 2 young kids to mind also I find just pay your bills first before gambling and take a shot with percentage of wage you can afford to lose and play and enjoy the game that grind would be to boring compared to putting your last 215 into the pokerstars sunday million and enjoy and of course dream good luck all
