i re cently joined pokerstars and after getting used to the software i deposited 10 pounds and startrd playing real money games, played for a couple of hours.this morning i noticed an email saying as i was on the table where the milestone was dealt i have a share of 157,000 dollar. my share was 27 dollar, my question is if id been a member of pokerstars for longer and had played more cash games would i have got a bigger share, or does it go on that paticular hand??.;)

Nothing to do with length of time at pokerstars.
It goes on the session at that table. And uses a calculation of the vpps you earnt at that table (I think up to 250 hands) by the amount of the Big Blind.
The winner of the hand gets their prized doubled.
The 157k though is the total amount for all the milestones, it wasn't all paid out at your table.
But how could you not have noticed it at the time at the table??
The chat moderator in green text would have been explaining it and the play would have been on hold whilst it was being worked out.
and if you had been sat out, you would have got nothing.
