Just downloaded the update and lo and behold there are 0.01c/0.02c tables!! Huge step for people trying to build a bankroll on FTP now. Anyone know the rake policy at these limits?

That's pretty cool, wonder if the rake is 300%? lol Seriously though, I think that was a good idea for them to do.

Rake seems to be 6.5% which is better than the 10% with $3 cap that the .05/.10 where. So not too bad.

Did they lower the rake on .05/.10 also? I've moved all but ~$10 off FullTilt because it didn't seem worth playing there until I was at 25nl. Guess I can build something there now. :)

Meh. I really hope their servers are able to handle the increased traffic. If it starts lagging too much because of the extra microstakes hands, i'll just move my action to stars.

Great news. Surprise they didn't do it long ago to compete with poker stars. Just looked at the Omaha H/L, and it appears no one even wants to play the 1/2 & 2/5 cents, surprising. Give it time I guess.

Ooooooh, I like it!! Last time you wanted the turtle facing the other way, so here's what it looks like. Cropped, and the lowest resolution. But looks fine this way.

Yeah, this one is alright angled the way it is because its like its looking over the post. ;) The turtle I wanted reversed was just looking away.

As a bonus, I see my free HUD shows my bb/100 on FT tables, instead of -1.#J like it does on Stars. (I tried what you said Sindri, couldn't fix it)

\/\/ Rofl, stay out of the water, Debi. I guess if you're afraid of fish, this must be pretty terrifying.

yeah, finally they reduced the rake on the low limits. was wondering why there were cents and stuff, then saw this post that there's an update.

Yep, this is pretty great news. They've even added new limit tables. They've even got a .05/.1 HORSE which is cheaper than pokerstars's lowest HORSE. Only problem is that ~3/4 or more of my BR is on PS. I've always like FTP better, and they have a better points system for micro cash players so this might persuade me to start rebuilding on FTP.

It's good that they've added these new tables to help compete w/ PS, but it'll probably take some time before we start seeing even half number of players at any given time we see on PS at comperable limits.

Monstrosity?!!? Now you've done it. You hurt his poor little feelings. So he had to called his buddies to come looking for ya. Kiss him and say 'I'm sorry'? Then no more buddies, I promise.

you should be able to play 5nl fine with only 13buy-ins imo.

wait till u reach 10nl but u could always just sit at some deep tables where the min buy in would be 1$ so not as many shortstackers

Now all they need to do is lower their minimum deposit....they would certainly attract alot more rookie players if they did.

Interesting point. I'm thinking that maybe they are thinking that if you give a freeroll winner of $2 something to play with for more than a couple hands, they will get a little more hooked on the fun, not to mention a more likely taste of winning a few hands. :D

Don't know about the nlhe tables, but the stud tables allow buy-ins now for 50 cents on the 05/10. Looks more like an effort by FT to get the micro BR's to get their funds in play to increase the site rake instead of unplayable amounts just sitting there.

I see that a lot on the Stars 04/08 stud tables. It's a min 40 cent buy-in and we often have players coming on with less than $1 or $1.50 and they aren't really 'shortstackers' - just those with a miniscule BR. They never reload when they lose, they just leave the table. MY Stars BR hit a new milestone for this weekend with all the players wanting in on the milestone hand awards. A little patience and it was easy fishing ... :D

this is a great addition to the FT site, but the only problem is if you are starting with $0.24 in your account, it wont let you sit at the tables. you need to have a minimum of $0.40 to play =(
guess thats the price you pay for withdrawing money from your account lol and trying to build up your roll from freerolls and maybe small table limits.

good luck to everyone tho!

Prolly a good idea since even the nl cap games have a 60cent max. I'd guess that 24 cents would get you one hand, unless you enter intending to play the lotto.

Those things are so ugly but cool. Now about the mirco games...

I played alot of them today.. Actually without them I would still have an insufficient bankroll but now I am golden.

I played on one of those tables today for about 2 hours.. I made a total profit of 12 cent wooo.. But I was practicing playing blind so it's all good.
