Specifically .05/.10 LHE

It seems any table I sit down at that's full or nearly full.. within a few minutes everyone leaves. I figured it was just normal fluctuation, and it probably is.. but here's what just happened a few minutes ago

- I sat down at a .05/.10 LHE table 8 players including me
- 1st hand: dealt J8o and won with a full house JJ66K (or something similar)
- 2nd hand: dealt JQo and won with two pair 2QJ35 (or something similar)
- everyone but me and 1 other left table
- 3rd hand (HU): dealt A3o and won with top pair (don't remember)
- I left the table, actually I wouldn't have played the 3rd hand but I had auto-post blinds enabled so my blind was out there by the time I realized everyone left.

So... is it normal to sit down a table and within a few hands everyone leave? Is this typical when a new player comes in and wins a couple hands in a row?

Yeah, I found that whenever anyone got on a hot streak at any point, not just at the beginning, that everyone up and leaves. I figured that with so many tables running, people figure they can find fish elsewhere.

It happens sometimes. Maybe a tourney was starting or something. If you get on lucky streak but other players think you're a donk (like showndown K3o in 3 bet pot)they'll hang around.

I have the opposite problem, if I play limit I like it to be 3-4 handed. Usually when I sit at a table with 1 or 2 it fills in seconds. Maybe the high turnover has to do with it being micro limit, the home of many busto poker players and their last two dollars.

I find it to be a little different on the micro stud tables. Seats don't change that often unless a player does bust and cannot buy-in again. If someone goes on a hot streak, there are a lot of players that go on insta-fold though, but they don't leave the table.

I never really notice this either, depending on what site I am playing on.

When playing on UB/AB I rarely ever see this in any of the micro/low limit games because a lot of the people in there are the shitty bots, and they never stop buying in.

On PS or FT, I don't notice the bots, but I guess I never realize that people all leave at the same time, whether I am on a streak or not.

Maybe your avatar scares them away, lol ;)
