I've played at Soaring Eagle and Fire keepers as well the charity rooms in Owosso, Fenton, and Lansing. I like Soaring the best personally, but the charity rooms in Owosso and Fenton are nice and friendly. I guess I can't give the greatest comparison to online and live because I've only played micro stakes online. When I go play live poker I bring just enough money to buy in to the tournament and bring $200 to the $1/$2 cash game afterwards. I'm trying to build a BR online, but live has been for fun and I go play when I'm willing to lose a couple hundred. I do find it funny when you put someone on a big decision at a charity room tournament, and the first thing they ask is if there is an open seat at the cash game. I've been called a couple of times with someone with 3 cards to a straight or flush and they hope to catch runner runner or go join the cash game.
