I thought I'd say something positive about the Merge network (Carbon Poker, etc). Back in 2008-2009 I was playing on Poker Nordica and then Black Friday happened. I stopped playing altogether but left about $16 on the site. Recently (5 years later) I looked for Poker Nordica but it was gone. After some brief research and coincidentally play on Carbon Poker (which looked very similar), I discovered PN was an old Merge skin, so I emailed Merge to ask if they'd transfer my old account to my new one on CP. After verifying my ID and address (which is required to cash out anyway) they transferred my PN balance to my Carbon Poker account. I thought that was rather honest since they had a lot of possible excuses to refuse, especially 5 years later. I'd be interested in knowing if anyone else has had good or bad experiences with Merge, like cashing out, etc.

Wow! That is awesome! I too had a Poker Nordica account and thought my money was gone because I can't even find the terms of service for the site. I may do some Emailing to see if my lost account funds can be recovered! thanks for the tip!!

Uhh Carbon Poker does have support. They should have a phone number & 24/7 live contact support via chat room. I should know because I've used their chat support several times both at night & day.

Just go to their homepage and it should be somewhere on there.

Merge network is very good for play.
it does have some problems like sometimes system down.
but considering the software, -- it occupies little resource than stars. and clear to look.
cash out needs to wait for some weeks but simply to say best choice now.

when poker Nordica stopped , merge gave ll customers the chance to transfer their fund to aced, carbon or i think players only , ( all that from memory ). aced and carbon bankrolls have since been consolidated into carbon . ANyone with old merge accounts where the sites appear o have disappeared sohould approach carbon and see if their funds can be transferred to carbon as that was what happened to most funds where sited left the merge network.

Yea. I was on poker.com/PDC/Aced/ Carbon. They were good with funds in 2006 when netteller was shut down in the U.S.

And in 2011, I gave up for a while...then Carbon emailed that I had a balance and to come back and play.

Used several sites since BF, and by far Merge(Carbon) has been the best to deal with imho.

Sure, you have to wait a bit for cashouts, but in the grand scheme of things unless you are a pro who needs to be cashing out regularly, who really cares.

The only complaint people really can have with Merge is they got rid of RB which was nice back when I got like 35 percent or whatever right back into my account the next day or week or whenever.

Still, Merge is very honest so at least you know what you are dealing with up front.
