Mischman couldn't figure out how to make a poll so I did it for him. Thats why its his screenshot. I had one once that was just over an hour, I think 1 hour and 6 minutes!

Sammy, very cool to help Mischman help. :)

Now we just need a mod to edit the poll and add one more option for less than one hour. As that is where I fall. I've never played a single heads up match that took that long.

i think the choices should be like 30m, 45m, 1h, etc. Dont think anyone could play HU for more than 1h 30m

I don`t think I`ve ever had one last more than 20 minutes or so. I don`t often play this type of headsup SnG, but I have sometimes had quite long ones at the end of a 10-man SnG (which is more my thing).

Come to think of it, I had what seemed a fairly long headsup once with Matt (above) when we were 1st and 2nd in an MTT at Titan.

I played a heads up match on stars that lasted over 3 1/2 hours. It was for an entry to the sunday million. I got the entry but damn, that was the longest haul I ever played. And the player I was against, I played him on another table a week later. Man, I thought to myself,"Not again!".

We started with $2,000 or $3,000 in chips and blinds were $25/$50 to start and doubled every 1/2 hour? I'm not sure - it was a few months ago now. It may have been closer to 3 hours, but I can't exactly remember anymore. I do know we went through a lot of beer though!!! It would have lasted a lot longer but we both just wanted it over as it was crossing 1:00 am and the beer was gone....

The longest I've had was about 1 hr 20 minutes...I absolutely HATE heads up play...What usually happens is I just get fed up and say "screw it" and go all in HOPING to just go out and be happy with 2nd...ANYTHING,to get me off that freakin table!!...

Once the beer is gone I lose my will to be concious.:beerglass

And ya that game could have gone on forever, although the blinds were about to get so high that half your stack would be in preflop.

I believe it was days.

and the line was, to paraphrase, I believe sir that I have to let you go.

I can't find the referance though... does anybody have it?

Found it, in THE REAL DEAL by P Gordon and Jonathan Grotenstein, (p.9)

$4,000,000. And the line was, "Mr. Moss, I have to let you go."

It was the basis on which the the wsop was formed.

Anyone know of a longer heads up match.
